Guys…we aren’t talking about some supremely talented guy In Angeli. He isn’t good either. If Minchey or Carr did enough to be qb2, i would get it. But Angeli is not a special talent and isn’t good enough of a passer to make people scared
He might well be Ian Book / Jack Coan level which we would all take.
He did well on a designed run from memory against Miami.

Carr should walk in MFs office and say "either Im playing or Im out of here". Not a program in the nation that wouldnt love to have him.
Carr has class and wouldn't do that. While the fanbase is calling for him to play, at best he needs to play the bare minimum to preserve a year, and he'll be ready to compete for the staring job next season. ND is glad to have Carr....

One thing I'm concerned about is apathy in the fans. It's not exactly a secret that Notre Dame's fanbase is contingent on being relevant at football.

This board was checked out this weekend. People will find better things to do than watch a shitty football team on Saturdays
Oh I super don’t care about Notre Dame football anymore.

An undefeated ND would have brought me a little joy, but my life’s a mess right now with my wife’s health and I’m not going to let this underachieving program make it even one percent worse.

That's so many fans now. With an aging fanbase, this is problematic.

He can complete the forward pass and has always looked confident... he took unnecessary sacks at Purdue but his other games have shown he can play better then what we're seeing

Time to start Steve at QB, do I get the job?

Freeman will start him, but only after we lose to Louisville and possibly another team. He tends to be more reactionary than proactive, likely because he doesn’t seem to know what he’s doing.

Would love to hear what the players themselves are saying. There has to be something to it if everyone else can see the problem.

This and getting dog walked by Louisville should be the beginning of the end for mr dei.

If I see this stupid fucking reference used as an insult towards MF anymore, it’s an auto-ban for me.

I’m not here to debate DEI. But if you actually think MF got the job for that one reason, you’re too stupid to be on this board.

If you **know** that’s not why he got the job, but you’re still using it as an insult, I can only assume it’s a low-effort way to be subtly racist as a means of reconciling your frustration with a guy who may or may not be cut out to coach ND.

Either way, I’m done seeing it.

Use actual words and reasoning to tell us why MF sucks… don’t be a fucking dimwit about it.

See Marshall, Stanford, and NIU. Not to mention the man had no experience other than coordinated at a middle of the road g5 school.

Call me a racist and ban me big deal. Won't change a thing.
