Evans barely grazed him. He just oversold it like he was an NBA power forward setting up at the top of the arc.I watched the last few minutes and the clock management definitely was atrocious. It was disappointing to see Evans pick that guy. Just let Staes win a race across the field, damn.
So we’ll go w Thommy Resse?Who was responsible for making sure his players had both flags on his belt?
Probably the same guy who was responsible for getting 10 men on the field for ND on the final two plays of the last OSU drive a few weeks back.
Not necessarily. This type of pathway to power and influence is a part of what many European/Catholic groups in the US understood and used to become upwardly mobile and gain a seat at the table.A little too tribalistic thinking for my taste. Doubt that ever goes into MF’s recruiting pitches.

He is saying conflicting things. Oh well….
My simplistic takeaway on this is that we’ve got to get better at eliminating the “head scratching” losses and get better at closing out close games but overall the product on the field is pretty darn solid.
They feasted on the poor teams but the offense crapped the bed against quality opponents. I take stats like these with a huge grain of salt.
Agree. I read it like there would be some changes. 🤞Yeah, none of that screamed "Parker is back 100%". Could still happen, but something tells me that MF changed up the OC dynamic after the complete sh*tshow that was the Clemson game.
I feel like that's most P5 teams, especially this year. They feasted on the poor teams but the offense crapped the bed against quality opponents. I take stats like these with a huge grain of salt.

But ND isn't trying to be most P5 teams. We're supposedly competing for a national championship. How many teams in the running the for CFP this season would have performed the way this offense did against Clemson in that 4th quarter? How many would have waited until week 11 to lean on PA, motion, etc? Parker is in over his head. Everyone sees it.I feel like that's most P5 teams, especially this year.
