KU refused to shake hands from the get go and then targeted his head to attempt to injure him.

I’ll take the Heisman winner who doesn’t put up with that bs and snaps back any day of the week and twice on Sunday (where he will have a long NFL career).
I don't think so.

If Josh would've kept his streak going I'd put him in the conversation of the Heisman. Josh looks beat up right now; which is too bad.

I saw that KU didn't shake hands with Baker Mayfield at the beginning of the game, what else happened?

Timeline:

- KU refuses to shake hands
- Baker tells KU fans you have 1 win, stick to basketball
- Baker converts circus TD.
- KU takes late launching cheap shot at Baker’s head. No targeting called.
- Baker proceeds to torch KU all day.
- Baker lets KU player know about it w/ crotch grabs and f bombs.

That is the quick hits, must see tv from yesterday. All videos can be found online pretty quickly.

It was glorious. I'm a Baker Mayfield hater, and I absolutely loved how he punked their asses after that terrible sportsmanship and attempt to injure. I have no clue why people are ripping on Mayfield so hard.

I don’t care about The heisman at this point. I just want him to survive Stanford and hopefully be the Adams ofnolsnin the bowl. Then pray for him not to declare for the draft and come back next season!

I think Josh needs to declare for the draft. RB just take a beating. Adams is probably a 3-5th round pick. Max out the years of your NFL career Josh and come back in summers to finish your degree.

I'm not a Baker hate per se, but I don't get the enormous hype either. He plays in a league with absolutely zero defense on a team that has been hanging bunches of points on people for at least 15 years. I don't see him having a very successful NFL career with his bad attitude and the shock he'll be in when he's not playing a team with hot garbage on defense every week.

He’s thrown for over 300 yards and 3 TDs vs. TCU and OSU this year. Most important, he’s a winner. And sometimes in football you just need to be a winner, not many have “it”. He has it.

By year 3 he’s a startling QB on a playoff team. All my vbucks on that.

Adams' Heisman shot evaporated in the last few weeks. Too banged up. But he's still got a chance to be invited to NYC, which would be cool. Good game in prime time against Stanford would help a lot.

Either way I think he pretty much has to go pro. Has ended each of the last two seasons banged up and has to know his body only has so many carries in it. I hate to see our guys go three and out but in this case it's hard to argue against.

Baker and his arrest this summer, Baker and his horrid sportsmanship at Baylor this year, on and on—-this is why so many people despise him. His action at Baylor was bad. He brings this on himself. Listening how he talked at Baylor I can’t imagine the stuff he says without us hearing.

And people wonder why so many people hate him.

Not respect the Baylor football program? How dare he! They’ve never done anything to deserve that.

I think he's costing himself some money in the draft. There are a number of teams who are not going to want to deal with this, especially from the QB.

Piss and vinegar is great from a LB, or DE, or even a WR. It's not great coming from your QB.

God I hate Tom Brady.

There's quite a difference between Rogers/Brady and Mayfield. Come on, man. At least point out guys like Newton, Crab Boy, and... I actually can't think of any other QB on that level.

Aaron Rodgers talks 100x more trash than Cam Newton or Jameis Winston. Rodgers has played with a huge chip on his shoulder his entire career.

Tebow was a winner (far bigger than Mayfield and he managed to accomplish it with class) and had "it" in spades in college. The NFL isn't college.

I see still no one wants to have a real discussion on Baker. You knew typing that the Tebow thing was a dumb comparison. Baker has 10x better mechanics, footwork etc. He also grades at the top of pretty much every passing category by PFF, something I would venture to say Tebow never did.

Neither Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady have ever been arrested. In fact Rodgers strikes me as the kind of guy who uses his turn signals on the highway and Tom Brady just studies game film and bangs his hot wife in the offseason. Talking trash on the field doesn't equate to a character issue, Mayfield is closer to Cam Newton and Mr. Crabs than Rodgers or Brady.

You pointed to non-measurable things like "the kid is just a winner" and "he has 'it'" so I pointed out another very famous college QB who everyone said the same exact thing about.

Mayfield is like walking riding a Ferrari coked out at 100 MPH, you're either going to get where you need to be in a f**king hurry or you'll crash and burn. The ride won't be boring though.

Actually that’s our QB.

Baker is just out here being the most efficient passer in college football the last two years.

QBs are so dang hard to project at the next level. Kid has been great in college and maybe he will be a very good QB in the NFL. Or, he'll be another Big 12 guy that flames out. Seems a little high strung for my personal liking. That never seems to play great long term.

If you really categorize Baker’s arrest with sexual assault and felony burglary. Well, I don’t know if there’s a stool tall enough to get off that high horse.

I view the floor as realistically a better Colt McCoy. Some are calling the cieling Brett Favre. Even I wouldn’t touch that.

Baker Mayfield can play QB for me any day. Love that man and his teammates rally around him. Sluh pretty much pointed everything out so I won't bore you with my details but nothing he said was wrong

I haven't watched enough of him. I generally tune out Big-12 games, because they become too "Madden" like. He's a gunslinger, for sure. He'll have a short leash in the NFL, though.

They rally around him because this is college ball. When it comes to the pros, I don't think they'll want their QB getting into childish antics. They want the boring guy who's going to work his ass off and get squared away.

Talking shit is one thing, making a complete fool of oneself is another.

Also someone wanna tell me why Lamar Jackson isn't getting any Heisman love? Dude is honestly incredible and has 40 touchdowns so far this year. Yet all we hear is Baker, Love and Barkley

1. He is getting love. Top 3-4 in most independent polls
2. Baker has been more incredible
3. Barkleys campaign disappeared a few weeks ago, and is currently getting no love at all
4. Love (gulp) has a chance to rush for 2,000 yards this Saturday, albeit slim. That has happened less than 20 times in NCAA history
