Recipe for success offensively will not change. Imperative to stay in front of the chains to give manageable down and distance.

Every single drive needs at least 2 first downs and end in either a punt or a kick

I’d prefer if every single drive did not end in either a punt of kick, unless you are alluding to the kick being a FG/XP, and stressing turnover free football.

By going from Knapp and Spindler to Baker and Jagusah, they gain 6 inches and 34 pounds to the OL. I would expect the OL to stay as is and lean into what those may due best, which will be some of the power and gap schemes that we saw. It also fits Love’s lack of cut ability. Just run straight.

The good thing for Baker is Sawyer and JTT are both very good DEs as well but not with speed like PSU had. More with power. JTT might be a tad slowed down. And you still have Leonard
6 inches is all you need according to my wife.

Just run straight.

THIS

Run it down their throats. No surprises. We are coming full speed at you. Are you man enough to take the punishment that we are going to continue to bring and stop it more often than not?

Yup, and when they start to buckle and cheat up, we run play action bootlegs for chunks.

I really think the offense will move and score, and I am more concerned about the defense surprisingly.

Lots of Twitter accounts reporting the Bears are requesting an interview with MF.

For fucks sake, not right now. No distractions.

Weird way to phrase this one considering he missed most of the game with an injury
Was Collins hurt during the game or before the game? I don't recall ever seeing him on the field, but certainly could have missed it early on.

Not knocking Freeman but they must be really struggling to find someone willing to work for their shit show.

Any response other than “I’m focused on our team and the game we are playing 1/20, there will be no interviews anywhere else. We are building something special here.” is unacceptable.

Shoot that shit down immediately. The media will latch onto it and try their best to create a circus around it leading up to the game without a resounding, emphatic, and assertive GTFOH with this shit type response.

Do you think a single player on the OSU roster has even heard of Zaire?

Probably a lot of Cover 2 Man for some extra help. The problem is that the front seven will probably need safety help too. Rylie Mills being out is so fucking huge.

Penn State was very good at outside zone. Apparently that's not Ohio State's offense. But it would be hard to watch the tape and think that Ohio State isn't seeing the same thing we are: run a lot of plays in 12 personnel, lean on the ND DL until ND plays Cover 1, and then let your WR corp do their thing.

With Rylie Mills and Ben Morrison, this game would be a rock fight. It still might be, but I'm not optimistic.

I honestly don’t see us switching up to much to what got us here. Clearly it works against all of the teams we played. Maybe break some tendencies but I have to think we continue with the cover 1 and man with some in game adjustments and halftime adjustments like we have been successful at all year. I trust Golden and MF to get these guys ready over 11 days.

This

What we may see is cover 1 disguised as zone.
