Georgia will have a backup QB Gunner Stockton playing. A rookie.

But mobile and capable of slinging it. And he has weapons all around. Please don't downplay the strongest program of the 2020s, they've recruited extremely well. If we were full strength, didn't lose 3 OL this year, didn't lose 1st and 2nd DE, didn't lose an AA CB, and didn't have a banged up DT, then I'd feel a lot more confident.

I think we'll have some general malaise interrupted by a handful of chunk plays that make up for it.
We’ll need the defense and special teams to put us in some solid field position. I don’t see us sustaining a ton of long drives—it’s not really our forte.

However as the metrics say, IU’s defense is supposedly legit—especially their DL—and Riley looked really good throwing the football at times last night, so there’s reason to be encouraged.

I truly believe the game hangs on what our D can do to their QB with Beck being out. Plus they haven’t played in 3 weeks. It’s entirely plausible they come out fresh but also slow like coming out of a bye week

I hope I’m wrong, but I think we’re going to have trouble moving the ball.
I don’t think so Miami and GT ran all over them also I saw us improve at WR a ton last night I think Denbrock is holding stuff back

I agree. I kinda was thinking I saw stuff last night we hadn’t seen before and maybe Denbrock was just doing something that was not what he should have but keeping his playbook closed. And it looked like the team maybe wasn’t executing as well because those plays were probably ones they hadn’t practiced as much.

The OL will need to play much better against Ga. If they can’t protect RL then running the ball is going to be tough sledding.

Denbrock has to call a great game and put the offense in position to have success. He can not have 2-3 series with bad playcalling like he did last night. Better teams make you pay for that.

GA’s offense isn’t as good as years past but even with the backup QB they can still make you pay if you get out of position.

Them Dogs are pretty solid on STs as always.

I am pretty sure Kirby started preparing heavily for ND early on and will have his guys ready as always.

The injuries for the Irish are more concerning to me than Beck’s injury. Hopefully some of them can make it back for the game.

Them Dogs won’t quit. They are going to play every second of the game regardless of the score.

It’s going to take a huge effort by the Irish to win the game. Ga is by far the best team ND will have played this season. But it’s doable. The veterans have to lead and the young guys gotta step it up.

While agree with most of this, I disagree with the last part. Georgia is the best team ND will face this year, but it's not that big of a gap. They are marginally better than TAMU and USC would give them a game. Heck GT should have beaten them.

Glad we played on Friday. 11 day gap. Little more than a week but also not almost 4 weeks Georgia has had off. Sure I’d like to be fresh and not have injuries but ND shouldn’t be rusty and should come out guns blazing.

Georgia against mobile QBs:

- 34 - 3 W over Clemson
- 34 - 41 L against Alabama
- 34 - 20 W over Florida (injured mid game)
- 10 - 28 L against Ole Miss
- 31 - 17 W over Tennessee
- 44 - 42 (OT) W over Georgia Tech

5 competitive games out of 6. Two losses. It’s long been the Saban defense kryptonite. They undoubtedly held back Leonard tonight from designed runs.

***Clemson also didn’t start running Cade till NC State game
