Why wasn't he prosecuted or censured for his orchestration of this cover up?

As per your goalpost timeline:

I honestly cut/pasted your quote and corrected you. You asked me what I was smoking even though the words as written were clear... it became a $20B company. Period.

You then took a fork in the road instead of taking full responsibility for being wrong on your assertion JS was wrong about UA becoming a $20B entity and instead wrote this topic shifting (direct) quote:

"All Under Armour had to do to accomplish that market cap was lie to investors for years about sales figures. Heckuva company."

That said, I lined up my next kick towards the goalposts YOU moved. I just kept playing on the new field you laid out.

Your timeline and rationale are incorrect.
LOL. You can't even keep things straight. I never said those things, someone else did. I was merely providing appropriate context to the market cap issue. That market cap was built entirely on misleading the market and plummeted once their fraud was exposed.

But yes, I'm sure that's exactly what Jack had in mind when he said it.

Savvy Jackkkkkk... hate your peacock/NBC alliance but master class in helping build a cfb playoff format that makes sense
How can you say that after watching ESPN butcher broadcasts. I'm not usually one who notices networks unless it's Gus Johnson orgasming over another 3 yd run up the middle but ESPN was missing plays, screwing up crowd/sound feeds and more not coming to mind.

But then again, I think Tom Hammond was almost as good as Tirico so maybe it's a me problem?

Looking back, it wasn’t that Swarbrick didn’t want to invest in the football team, it was that he didn’t believe in investing in Kelly. When Freeman took over, the level of investment shifted tremendously while Jack was still AD

Swarbrick was the doer. Jenkins and the old BOT were the wanters.

JS is a corporate attorney. He always acted in that capacity. His mandate wasn't to win a natty or else. It was... Jack, you pretend you're running the program like Bama while we (Jenkins/BOT) run the school like it's Stanford or an Ivy.

I still don’t like how Jack handled the OC situation the first two years of Freeman’s tenure. This is the first year Freeman got to chose his own OC which is wild.

Yeah. That's what 3 outta 4 ND fans surveyed say. But a quarter of us acknowlege Ole Tom as the sportscasting genius he was.

I mean, was Tirico smart enough to find a tigress like this to prowl the sidelines?

Then why did he keep extending BK instead of finding someone he did believe in?
I have to call BS on this one.

I believe when Kelly left for LSU there was contemporaneous reporting that he went to ND looking for more money (either before or after the LSU offer, I can’t remember) and Swarbrick basically told him to fuck off. There were rumors from 2013 onward that Swarbrick and Kelly had a frosty relationship from Kelly lying to his face during/after the 2012 run.

There were also rumors that we paid Rees a ton of money and lobbied hard for the Freeman/Rees “package deal”, and worked hard to retain some other key assistants like Elston, to try to stick it to Kelly.

I was also a Hammond fan, but i understand why people weren't fond of him

IIRC BK’s side went to ND for an extension after the Wisconsin win in 2021.

He had just signed a new extension the year before. I don't put anything past BK, but I doubt even he thought it would make sense to ask for yet another extension just 1 year after signing his then-current extension.

That doesn’t pass the sniff test. If the relationship was frosty, Jack would have had plenty of cover to launch Kelly after the abomination that was 2016.

Jenkins signed off on launching Willingham in the midst of a media smear campaign to paint us as racists. Monk Malloy he was not.

Did Tom make the call on Flannigan? I assumed it would be the people above him. In any case, we're never gonna have it better than Alex Flannigan. She even had the Irish name!

What was Swarbrick's role in producing this awful G5 arrangement where the top 5 ranked conference champions get in? I knew he was vaguely involved, but I heard on a podcast that he was one of four people who created it.
