Yea, watching this video was bitter sweet. Wish some of these guys didn't have to go, but at the same time, every single one of them has a lot to be proud of.

Jonas Gray, Michael Floyd, and Harrison Smith are three of my four favorite players on this team. Sad, sad, sad to see them go.... very proud of them though.

If you folks watched the senior day pre-game, Coach showed you what HE thought too. Those guys didn't come out in arbitrary order. Coach gave the players he respected [loved?] the most the final spots. Who were they? Blanton, Jonas, Big Mike, and lastly, the real heart of this team, Harrison. Damm, I'm going to miss you guys.



not that anyone cares, but my other favorite player is Robbie Toma. Coeur de Leon.

That's odd that they took it off the end if that's what happened. It's not on the youtube version either. Anyone that saw it care to give a recap of what he said? Maybe they just went back and took it out because he has a year of eligibility left?

He was pretty emotional, just said he was going to miss it. He appreciated his experiences while at ND.

He's a standup kid

Didn't realize they took it out. It did appear that this was his last game

Negative... Not as long as Brian Kelly has air in his lungs will this kid be the starting quarterback at The University Of Notre Dame.

As bad as Tommy has looked at times, Kelly's never looked back, nor should he have...

I wonder why they removed it. Maybe they don't want people to know that 5th year decisions have already been made?

This is a great series.

I do have to wonder if Kelly actually preps for a pregame speech because they all seem to be lacking. Anyone else see this?

If this is the case... you have to wonder about Golic, who was incredibly emotional. IMO I don't think thats why they took it out, I'm not sure why, but I don't think that segment from Dayne was much different from Golic's.

The way I heard it, it pretty much sounded like Golic was saying he'd be back.

Give Golic a 5th year right now. I don't care if he plays a down next year. He has become what Notre Dame is all about. His leadership in the locker room will be needed next season. Class act...great kid...great Domer.

You know, for a guy that gets so uptight about people criticizing Tommy, you have a lot of hate for Dayne, who is just as much a part of the ND family.

I think it's more a comment about Kelly being second guessed for putting Crist back in.
