The dancing after a win never gets old.

I also noticed how beat up Manti seemed at the end of the video while BK was talking. I think he's got more injuries than we know of.

"PLAY LIKE A CHAMPION"

"We are on a journey to do that."

No, we haven't gotten there yet, but we're getting closer.

I think Mike Golic probably earned himself a 5th year after that performance

In a normal year, I'd agree but since Cave will also be a 5th year and they only appear to be bringing back 4 or 5 at this point, it doesn't seem likely. I'd guess that the guy running center on the scout team now will be next year's back up center.

I was not a fan of either of the Golic recruitments. Mike clearly demonstrated his right to one Saturday night. In the past decaded or so when the starting center went down ND struggled if I recall correctly.

I think Kelly's comments in the locker room after the game showed where he was coming from at the press conference. He obviously felt the win represented a step in the right direction and that was more important than any one particular aspect of the game.

I think he reacted like a coach who was pretty proud of his team.

How anybody could watch the coach and the players like that and decide to keep bitching and picking away at every dammm thing that they are doing astounds me. Cheer, Cheer, for Old Notre Dame!

Seems like they are really coming together as a team. Much like they did late last year. Awesome to see and I am getting excited for the Stanford game!

Tired of this:

"It's a message board, so we're allowed to voice our opinions"

NDNation has openings if you want to harp on the negatives of each individual drive.

So, everybody went a little gaga for Skylar Diggins last year. I think we should all pay a little attention to the NEW woman of the year, Melissa Henderson of ND Women's Soccer.

If you don't believe me, go to the UND video channel and check out her 2 minute interview...

Big Beautiful and Tough Tom-boy. A really physical athlete when you watch the game. Tremendous offensive threat analogous to Abby Wambach on the Olympic Team. ND is really fortunate to have such a player. [plus our backline defense was lights-out last year].

Loved BK's halftime intensity, you can call that "yelling at players" i call that firing up a team so that they don't let up the intensity. Hope to see more of that next week and especially at Stanford. Best part of that video was TOMA getting the fight song honors!

All Terry and some of the others of us ask is a bit less continuous b1tching and nit-picking every damm thing. Opinions, even very negative ones, can be voiced with some classy awareness that others in the "audience" might appreciate a simple good feeling about something once in a while. My father gave me several great lessons. One of them was the famous "sh!t sandwich". When you had to lay some criticism out there, begin by praising the person a bit, then with wisdom and some constraint lay in the sh!t, and end with another modest burst of good cheer. Remarkable how that often turns off the heat, the disgust, even the rejection. And it makes the world a classier easier-to-live-in place.

Reps to Terry....As usual.

I find the truth without the candy *** nonsense is a much better approach. Unless you are in politics or a liar in general. See how I got my point across in a lot less words?

This is my board and I love candy. Not saying you have to hold hands and hug all the time but leave the snarky comments, e.g., the last quip in your post, to a minimum.
