Bit'O Dubb

Bit'O Dubb

Hello everyone, I'm Cody but like to go by my Alter Ego Dubb. (last name starts with a W) nickname through high school. Was raised in Penn State territory but after sitting and watching ND play Purdue for the first time it was true love at first sight. I have never had the opportunity to go to South Bend to see the Irish play. Was supposed to go to the BYU game this year through one of them action jackson tours don't know if ya know what im talking about but anyway the trip was cancelled due to lack of interest damn penn state fans. I did get to see Notre Dame play at Penn State 2007 31-10 we lost but I couldn't have cared less. I got to see the team ive broken glasses, remotes, and cheap canvas stools over. Hope I didn't waste too much of your time reading this. Thanks for taking a look.

Hi all,

I'm Greg and I've been a Notre Dame fan for the last 20 years thanks to my dad. I recently created a song on YouTube in honor of their national championship berth entitled "Here Come the Irish." A combination of the ND victory march and the Christmas song "Here Comes Santa Claus."

Recently joined. Irish fan all my life. Passed down from my late Grandfather. His devotion spread like a virus throughout my entire family!! Great season so far. Defining moment: my grandmother humming the fight song and pointing skyward, "This ones for you Pop-Pop". ND goes on to beat USC that night!! Love it.

Hello everyone.

I've been lurking this site for around 3 or 4 years and decided to make an account a few weeks ago. I'll likely continue to mainly lurk in the future but will post occasionally I'm sure. Just wanted to say a little about myself and how I came to be a Notre Dame fan.

I'm currently 24 years old and from a small town in Virginia. I'm a Virginia Tech graduate (what gave it away?) Naturally I'm a huge VT sports fan but Notre Dame has been my favorite college football team for the last 15 or so years. My father has always liked Notre Dame and they were the team that was on TV every Saturday at my house. My earliest Notre Dame memory is the Joey Getherall PR game against Nebraska. I remember Dad going nuts when he had that return and I think that's when I truly became a fan. I was just numb after the Bush Push game and absolutely irate after last season's Michigan game. Zbikowski was my favorite player until Te'o came along.

Also, I made my first trip to South Bend a few weeks ago on Senior Day against Wake Forest. It was also my Dad's first trip to South Bend. Let me just say that we were both blown away. The atmosphere was unlike any other I've ever seen in college football. I could write all day about the atmosphere at the stadium that day but I'm sure you've all experienced it multiple times. I was truly impressed.

Anyway, that's a little about me and my experience with Notre Dame. This is without a doubt the best ND forum online, and I've been meaning to make a post for a while now but just haven't gotten around to it. Keep up the great work, fellas.

I am a second generation Domer, class of '65. I live in Northern CA. I attend one or two home games a year, usually the season opener. I am joined by 4-6 family members, all ND fanatics. I heard this site was a welcome relief from some of the other confrontational and unpleasant ND sites. I can see already that this is the case. I am delighted to be a part of this group.

Glad to have you Granite. Don't sell us short....we can be as stupid as the others, try and temper our "enthusiasm" a little better than the others. :) Thanks for stopping by, and....

Go Irish!!!

I'll revive this thread from the dead...

What's up everyone, name's Chris and been an Irish fan since I was born in '81. My father was class of '70 and played on the team so Blue & Gold runs through my veins. I call Chicago home but currently live in Anchorage, Alaska.

Glad to be here among other fans of the greatest collegiate team in the nation!

Oh believe me... I'm on a few different boards that are full of bullshit. I know how it goes but I like your philosophy. LOL. Thanks for the welcome!

Hey all I'm a new guy here so figured I would introduce myself. I'm from CT, a freshman at Uconn and going to school to be an athletic trainer. I'm an avid golfer and would kill to be able to go out on a course every day if I could. I like to fish but mainly freshwater as I usually only go at a lake up in Massachusetts. I've been an Irish fan since i first popped in the vhs of Rudy and started memorizing the lines to that movie shortly after. I'm glad I found a board that is informative and looking forward to contributing anyway I can.

Just include "Fuck Michigan" in a post and you'll fit right in.

Just remember to cross your "t"s and dot your "i"s. Mind your "p"s and "q"s and you'll be fine. Handwriting and grammar count.
