Thanks to all those chicks on SCOTUS (and a cuck) we are going to see some nasty stuff on treatment of all these visitors. Wait until we make every tourist take a pregnancy test on the way in- has to be all b/c we can't "profile". How about student/work visa- quarterly pregnancy tests and immediate deportation if it comes up positive. Y'alls hair will be on fire over that but it is the logical response.

Actions have consequences. IDGAF if you are a violent criminal or not. Get out. Time for more moderate solutions has now passed. Chicks and a cuck's fault for taking away ambiguity to create an absolute free for all. Good luck getting Congress to fix it. Maybe this pushes Convention or States over the top.

LOL - All the enlightened on here that think Dems stopped cheating after Daley won it for JFK. Republicans have known they have to beat the cheat for decades. Amazing when a state cleans up their process it gets redder. Not that Rs are immune to grift but GTFOOHWTS on elections currently having integrity. One day, show your ID, count up the paper ballots that night. It is laughable people defend the current shitshow.

Daley, why don't we just go back to Boss Tweed and New York's Tammany Hall and James Michael Curley and the Irish immigrant voters. It's 2026 FCOL.

I mean Republicans have done a lot already to help minimize any voting tomfoolery with like one polling place for an entire city that's open from 10am to 3pm.

The shit show is "the vote has been compromised" bullshit this admin is pushing down our throats.

And btw, I truly believe that Tech Bros. like Musk helped Trump cheat going all the way back to 2016.
That's why he's so pissed about 2020 - He and his crony cheaters didn't anticipate massive mail-in ballots due to COVID and that thwarted their 2020 plans to pop the cork.

Thanks for reinforcing my point. Cheating and elections go hand in hand.

LOL - election denier! Mail in was and continues to be the most easily defrauded vote method in the world. In person, one day - why is that so threatening to some folks?

By extending the voting period you enable bad actors especially. The small minority that mobilize to "get out the vote" or whatever get a full month in most areas to operate. Compressing an election into a shorter period, not longer period is essential to returning some sanity to the process. It is a cottage industry, if it were only a day or two you could be on payroll to harvest much fewer people would do it than the full month paycheck they get now.

No issue with that, but leave it to the STATES to decide, and FCOL, why do we not give people the day off and have long enough hours and enough polling places to accommodate everyone? And of course, any polling place interference is prohibited.

I've never understood the entire day off to vote thing. It's not necessary and doesn't benefit either side over the other, so it's not a way to help one or the other. You can't shut down the country for a day. Most people still want to go out to eat, buy groceries, there's business to attend to, and etc. Giving everyone a partial day off or a few hours seems more than sufficient to accomodate everyone.

Some time off is better than nothing... Many countries around the world declare a national election a holiday and many hold them on the weekend.

Maybe it's not necessary for you, but working folks may have a hard time getting to the polls, again, especially when many red states limit # of places and voting hours to make it even harder for these folks.

Naive boomer statement, IMO. Teacher's union plays for keeps.
