I cannot find any proof of the all-state honorable mention for my senior year. And my mom also cannot find the 2nd 1st team all conference certificate. But this photo shows two things. One is that there is a 2nd identical certificate (you'll have to trust that it's for football and for 1st team). And also, that helmet starts the season all black. I accumulated a lot of stickers my senior year.

I've never seen so many participation trophies in one place before! Nice work Koon...highly decorated!

About 80% of all ND students were varsity athletes in HS, so that probably explains that. I'm about 6'5" 275

True, but if you talk to the students you'll soon find out that at least 50% of that 80% were cross country runners. I was a varsity athlete in high school (cross country and golf), and I am only 5'10. That may have something to do with it though. Solid point.
