Anything that has to do with parking tickets and or getting your car towed, I tend to really feel for owner of the vehicle. I got so many bullshit parking tickets when I first moved to Chicago, that I noticed they were just giving out tickets that were during the authorized parking hours, because they know most ppl wont go through the trouble of fighting the tickets. It got so bad that I got 3 in a row that I fought and had the tickets dropped. I eventually sold my car because i didnt want to deal with the corrupt a$$ city meter maids anymore. But without knowing what happened to this chick, I'll just say she had one of those moments when she went off on someone. So what, it happens. Everyone has their bad days.

It would be really easier to feel some sympathy for her, if she were complaining about some injustice instead of bragging about being on television and making fun of someone else's appearance.

Tow companies are slimy in general, but to berate on a personal level like that is really sad. THIS. If she had gotten pissed about something they did to her and called them on their bull$hit as a company, or was just standing up for herself I would applaud her. This was more of a snooty bitch, "I'm better than you, and you are fat and ugly" fifth grade style attack. The kind of attack, that if she were a man, would make me want to fight him (which is obviously how an Irishman takes the high road). Nothing gets my blood boiling faster than someone who tries to make another human feel like less than them, especially b/c of bs like physical appearance.

This one I was already 2+ years in...shit was horrific.

I have a good friend who lives in the area and he mirrored your sentiments. He is a pretty calm guy and he said that the most enraged he'd every been was because of the actions of this company and their employees. He definitely had a lot to say about this company and believes as well that there is certainly two sides to this story!

I'm sure she was provoked too. But to your point, doesn't excuse the core essence of her tone and behavior. I've been enraged before while completely wronged and have engaged in 2 way bad behavior. That said, still, the level of her snarky demeaning personal attacks clearly shows an underlying superiority complex which doesn't just happen when wronged. I could understand F-bombs, some yelling, but she took it to a whole different place.

Predatory towing in Clarendon sucks - nothing you can do about it - Brad Kanus -- a little anecdote on how Advanced Towing operates in the lot McHenry parked in (she was eating at Hunan). You'll find similar (and worse) on Yelp, etc. They're notorious for illegally towing people, and then when you call them on it trying to screw you out of money/intentionally damaging your car. And the entire time they will insult you 10x worse than anything you heard McHenry say.

I live right by a different lot that they have a contract for and this happens daily to people. My fiance used to work in an office building across the street from the lot and it was just absurd. The lot has a time limit of an hour, so they'd wait for someone to park and go into one of the sit-down restaurants and then tow them. When they come out and find their car towed and eventually get down to the lot... even though they have a receipt showing they were at the restaurant the company will:
1) Claim that their spotter says you left the lot to do something else in addition to dining and that you can't prove otherwise.
2) Claim that you were over the time limit (which if you went to dinner and then had to get across the city with no car to the lot....)

It's all a giant racket where they know most people will just pay the money to be done with it. And they're intentionally rude/provocational while you're in there so that you're even more inclined to pay the money in order to extricate yourself from the situation.

There used to be a similar situation in Hilton Head. Cost me about $450 to get my car out. They got such bad press about 10 years ago, the city stepped in and cured the ills.
