Would have been enough for Brian Ferentz to keep his job.
It’s insanely good vs lesser teams because our talent and a 6th year qb…. It’s insanely bad vs good Defenses due mostly to Parker

351 total yards against OSU19.5 ppg, with a 1-3 record, against the teams that were worth a fuck.
Well said. Knew that stat would take less than a minute to get shown for the fraudulent piece of data it is. This is why it’s important to peal the onion to get to the bottom of the real story. NC St on the road was our best offensive game against a legit D. Offense wasn’t as bad as our lousy 14 points against Ohio State. We just didn’t finish off Several opportunities but that’s on Porker.19.5 ppg, with a 1-3 record, against the teams that were worth a fuck.
351 total yards against OSU
298 total yards against Louisville
329 total yards against Clemson
Louisville was all garbage time too with game over351 total yards against OSU
298 total yards against Louisville
329 total yards against Clemson
ND beat just making shit up to fit the narrative and stay on the coaches’ good graces.Lol but Hartman isn't good at PA and it's not guaranteed to work. What a joke of a coaching staff
Story of the season is T25 team can beat inferior opponents but can’t do a damn thing against any semblance of quality.Unfortunately yards don’t always equal points/wins
The fact none of them asked who called plays during the game is more proof they’re soft.ND beat just making shit up to fit the narrative and stay on the coaches’ good graces.
We dream of plays like this
5 TDs between OSU-Duke-Louisville. Just plain awful.351 total yards against OSU
298 total yards against Louisville
329 total yards against Clemson

How many of those started in ND territory? Seem to remember us only really being able to score when being set up by the defense.5 TDs between OSU-Duke-Louisville. Just plain awful.
Pretty much the standard in college football for top ten teams. There’s a few exceptions but not manyWilling to see what Gino’s O looks like vs the bowl opponent before jettisoning the staff. Full staff turn over in 2 straight years is awful for the players and recruiting.

We had 6 tds vs those 3, one was a yard or two vs clemson after pick. The other 5 were long drives.5 TDs between OSU-Duke-Louisville. Just plain awful.

Why would they ask? It’s easier to tell their listeners that they’re idiots who don’t know ball on their ND podcasts.Seriously…why wasn’t this asked? In MF’s post game presser, he said something to the tune of “congratulations to GP and our offensive coaching staff…”.
That would have been the perfect time to raise the question.
Yeah i read Freeman said that. You beat up on an average defense with some critical injuries. Glad you did, wasn't pretty still at times, but when the O crapped the bed vs every good team we played, they don't get a pass for beating up on a 4-7 team.Seriously…why wasn’t this asked? In MF’s post game presser, he said something to the tune of “congratulations to GP and our offensive coaching staff…”.

One was a garbage time TD against Louisville, not going to count that. Defense and special teams set us up very well against USC too. In a game where we scored 48 against that awful defense we only had to finish two drives that started in our own territory. The rest were short drives, or there were 4 punts and a FG after the defense gifted us another one on USC's 14 yard line.We had 6 tds vs those 3, one was a yard or two vs clemson after pick. The other 5 were long drives.
Obviously not close to good enough. Throw in Duke, 2 more Tds vs them with one being at the very end.
To be fair to Parker, I thought the playcalling overall was good in the WF game. Obviously there were some exceptions (i.e., after the on-sides kick), but there always are in the course of a game.
Question is “how much of that was influenced by someone else?” Or was that all GP?
Yeah, the proof was in the pudding. I refuse to believe that Parker finally found his groove as OC in the 11th game of the season...It wasn't all GP. I thought I heard that GG, and probably Deland, too, would have a bigger hand in game planning, looking more collaboratively at what types of things might work, what they could exploit, and how they would want to sequence plays.
You could see a difference in the WF game. Guys were open from the very 1st play, all day. They used more pre-snap motion, more PA, 3 TE sets, anything that could confuse the defense and give ND's offense an edge. Stuff that should have been in play weeks ago.
Agreed. Watch how the goal posts move on the pods this week. I guarantee they’ve all heard from their fans about the emergence of play-action after fans were told how bad Hartman has been at executing it. Now they will respond w/ “yeah…but what idiot fans don’t realize is that WF was in zone coverage all game long so of course it worked”It wasn't all GP. Have been trying to dig up info on playcalling from Matt Freeman over at ISD. Seems to be suggesting that Parker still called all the plays but seeing if he believes there may be a change in the game planning or playcalling order. I'll update on it if I hear more.
Definitely think those guys aren't asking because they were told not to.
