The killer is that Hartman is best at hitting his inside receivers when he either (1) knows he’s got man coverage, or (2) knows it’s zone and finds the soft spot. He’s a sniper with the inside throws, generally.
Greathouse and Tyree have both shown a great understanding of how to find the zones that Hartman likes, and Faison made two great plays in rapid succession… only for Parker to keep doing dumb shit (like running into a loaded box, not using motion, not using rollouts, etc.), instead of adapting on the fly to target the inside receivers and TE’s more often.
I could’ve recognized that shit playing NCAA14.
I know Tyree dropped a deep, easy shot (relatively easy, I guess), but that doesn’t mean you punish him and go totally away from what’s working.
I guess it’s also possible that Faison’s current route tree is limited, or that he hasn’t grasped enough of the playbook to do more than he did.
But that STILL doesn’t explain Parker’s lack of adjustments to targeting Louisville’s OLB’s and safety’s with quick hitters inside each hash.
