Denbrock's play calling is so wildly inconsistent. The stench of Kelly still surrounds him. Maybe he felt like the defense had the game in the bag, so he put the ball in the cooler like his mentor would do. Why is Devyn Ford in the game again?
This is what I have loved about Denbrock. Each week he adds another wrinkle off of plays that have been successful throughout the season. This offense is definitely a work in progress, but he is building on it every week.I think Denbrock was on to something with those slants the other day. I’m interested to see the next step that he put that on film so successfully. Should be fun.
It’s doneI have questions
This almost certainly has nothing to do with Denbrock.Denbrock's play calling is so wildly inconsistent. The stench of Kelly still surrounds him. Maybe he felt like the defense had the game in the bag, so he put the ball in the cooler like his mentor would do. Why is Devyn Ford in the game again?
He was calling them earlier in the year. The problem was RL was missing them back then.I think Denbrock was on to something with those slants the other day. I’m interested to see the next step that he put that on film so successfully. Should be fun.

That would have to include AC. No exceptions. Not sweating in a tux or a suit!I told my wife we could either get married in June or July. No exceptions.
He is a pretty good blocker and an average back. I think the D is wired to presume he won’t get the ball so I would say it was almost like a trick play. He is good enough to start on plenty of teams just not ours as we have 4-5 better running backs ahead of him. Williams is looking very good and people need to pay some attention to #21 Kendrin something who is a bull of a runner. This was really irking me on Saturday lol
I was at the game, so maybe it didnt come across on the TV but have the rules changed regarding use of the PA systems? Since it was a GA Tech home game the Mercedes Benz Stadium video/PA system was being used in their favor. That's expected, but they were blasting pump-up music while Leonard was ready to recieve the snap and would only cut it once the ball was snapped. Seemed like total bullshit because they were just artificially creating a ton of pre-play noise.
The situation is anything but ideal, they have the best guy in place for said situation. This is what I have loved about Denbrock. Uhh last year against Louisville and Clemson? 2021's line was way worse than this one as well.I was really thinking we had a D1 two deep on OL that would have us in reload mode and they would be noticeably improved as the season went on. The reality is probably that Leonard was targeted knowing we needed a run threat QB given OL question marks. When is the last time the OL was limiting our offense to this degree? So frustrating as the writing is clear as day that we will be stymied by a top 20 defense which does not bode well for CFP.
Are we doing something with Love that telegraphs his runs? He just seems to have the worst draws of the game when it comes to RB reps. I agree that he is an elite back but just baffled on why they don't seem to block or scheme for him as well as others?
