Pretty cool.
I had a landscaping dude that worked on my old house before we sold it. Before he started his own business he was in construction, and he got to work on the latest additions to the stadium several years ago, showed me all kinds of pictures of him on scaffolding around the stadium. Kinda crazy the House that Rockne Built is almost 100.

We just passed through South Bend and saw a crew removing turf from the stadium. I don't know if that was for the soccer game or if they are just prepping for a new season?

I couldn't find any information about this, but I wouldn't be surprised. More and more colleges have been adding beer or other drinks to the menu since 2018. Something like 80% of college stadiums offer it now. I'm surprised ND has turned away the possible revenue, but my guess is they've wanted to avoid the liability when people do stupid things intoxicated. They deal with it already via tailgaiting before the game. I say that as a fan that tailgates before the game :laugh:

Was it 2020 that they were going to start? I remember people talking about Guinness being available

Man, I am sad that I missed that chance...I was supposed to go to the game but wifey and I are having serious problems right now...and today is our 18th anniversary.

I could definitely have used a beer and a distraction to get away...

Appreciate it Redbar...we have 15 year old twin boys...she accused me of cheating, which I have never done...we have some intimacy issues and financial stresses causing some major issues...

Yes, that’s when the partnership with Guinness, Joe Montana and ND began. It was gonna run up to an announcement before the season that they’d be selling Guinness (and more, probably) in the stadium.

Covid ruined those plans. Not sure why they continued to push it back, though
