Since he's proved that he doesn't know sh!t, I take little solace in that prediction.
so the same guy that said we'd get blown out by Georgia by 20, Greg McElroy just picked us as #3 at the end of the season and in the playoff. He thinks we win convincingly this weekend and proceed to run the table...
I listen to McElroy and Zarzour on my way in to the office often just because they are on, and I will listen to anything CFB related in the fall.
The best way to describe the show and their takes is bland. McElroy does a good job scouting QBs. But other than that I feel like they have basic topical knowledge about all the teams and that's it (which is also ESPN commentators in a nutshell).
The best college sports talk is Bill King and his show is free every day on Soundcloud. It is Bill King at #1, then a canyon of nothingness, then I guess Mark Packer and the rest of them, then a valley of despair and Paul Finebaum.

Could you imagine the ratings of a Bama - ND - OSU - Georgia playoff?Literally every chaos scenario involves ND being 11-1, with the sort-of exception of UGA going 12-1 and getting in along with Bama.
If ND isn't involved, the SEC can still keep two of the Power 5 out. That is decent chaos, especially if Wiscy wins the B1G somehow, or if the ACC champ has two losses.

All of the hype. All of the viewers.
Trying to think of a fourth team that would optimize the hype and viewers over UGA... scUM? USC? Texas? FSU?
If TCU and Penn State are both undefeated it would be very hairy.I really don't see how Bama, Georgia and ND can be kept out of the playoffs in the scenario mentioned. If you are really after the four best teams for the playoffs an unbeaten Bama, a one loss Georgia and a one loss ND would have to be three of the teams. SOS has to come into play in a big way. But I'm getting way ahead of myself. Let's see how we do in the next two weeks. Win those two and we could very well end up at 11-1.

We play so much of the ACC that if we go 11-1, we're the de facto ACC champions.Undefeated conference champs are almost guaranteed to be in. If TCU and PSU are undefeated, then you have them and the SEC champ in, with PAC12, ND, and ACC fighting for the 4th spot. That scenario doesn't look good for ND. We basically need the PAC12 and ACC champs to be either defeated opponents (NC State, Stanford, SC) or 2 loss teams.
ND needs one of TCU/PSU to lose a game plus obviously win out.

Just one gets in. SOS kills both especially TCU.
I call bull poo. They won't keep out an undefeated conference champion of a Power 5 conference. A loss would end TCU, but if they go undefeated, they're in. They're not just a Mountain West power anymore.

12-1 defending champ Clemson would beg to differ. We're not getting in over them if it comes down to it.
