GameDay would be nuts to set foot on ND's campus this year. The construction would make for very bad television.

I am, however, hearing rumblings that ND @ Clemson is very likely.

I don't understand what this is? Sounds like some kind of stipend beyond tuition, room and board. Remember, ND does not pay for off campus housing. It was kind of a thing when they finally even allowed players to (formally) live off campus. I wouldn't be surprised if the difference would be a room and board allowance. In that case, $3k more wouldn't be that great of a deal.
