I have always said this about CRob. He stood a talked with my kids for a long time under the stands. Hunter Biven thought CRob was being accosted and offered him an out. CRob was careful with the big guy to thank him and tell him he would catch up.
One may have thought that he was interested in my daughter and her friend. But no. He was really interested in my younger kinds. As time goes by, I think the most amazing thing about it is Corey (as a 17 year old) could actually hold a conversation with 5-10 year olds! No wonder this woman was so impressed at how well these guys did with her son!
I am not sure what happened with Nile, but I saw a report on the tweet, and I thought that could have been pro-Nile/anti-ND, or pro-ND/anti-Nile. To me it was a strong reaction precipitated by one party not doing their job. And it could have been just as easy the player, as in Jay was saying, I agreed to do all these things to earn my scholarship, and someone else gets to blow his conditions off?
We may never know. But for many the other day was a bad day emotionally. I can't blame them. It sure seemed like the recruits their families, the Buckeyes, and ESPN set that whole thing up to taunt ND fans, so when this thing happened, bunches of frustrated fans just exploded. But I have seen no confirmation that ND did anything wrong, or that Nile did either, for that matter.
