Their offense is 43rd, which is certainly respectable, but not as good as some are making them out to be. ND should handle their business. MSU offense is 53rd, FWIW.

1/2 is this is of course, part of the answer to the Denbrock/Carr complaints. We don’t run enough good/explosive plays for many’s liking but we really avoid negative ones at an elite clip under Carr’s tenure

Since we love motion, I'd have run a motion sweep to keep the box honest (not to mention involved out slots which are currently irrelevant).

I'd run more PA fakes (15% for ND). Most offenses are 35-50%.

I'd run counter more rather than it be obvious by which side of Carr the RB sets up on.

I'd either quit 12 personnel or design something for the TEs if they're going to occupy the field (roll out throw back? Hello?).

I'd watch one quarter of Louisville's offense and implement that. Doesn't even matter which quarter because they're keeping defenses on heels all game and using the field.

I'd run slants. High percentage play with a stud QB and we don't even use the middle of the field.

This is 10 seconds off the top of my head and this isn't even exotic, it just doesn't exist.

Technically, UCF does too. we own the War on I-4 trophy from USF and the "Civil War" trophy from our beloved Bob Diaco's time at UCONN. The trophy we said we didn't want and then left on the field after the last time we beat them because even the team didn't realize it was thing.

Tirade is a compilation of crazy blurting and a few discussables. The real quick take that this is generally crazy is that no points include the Defense. Teams have won titles with dominating defenses and OK-solid offenses. This person needs to get some perspective about football.
Let's see how good the offense really is, and whether the defense can be dealth with by ANY team.

Agree... anymore, I can barely tell the band is even there. Then you get USC's band in the stands and you can't get their overrated fight song out of your head because of how loud and often they play.
