SPOILER. Highlight below to read. Nothing crazy spoiler, as it's just from the trailer, but better safe than sorry.

So this week is gonna be radical according to the trailer for episode 4. Sansa returns to King Landing and we are getting a battle that is going to rival battle of the bastards. Looks like Dany sends the Dothraki and her dragon to intercept the Lannister army on their way back from Highgarden. Interesting also because they are returning with the gold to pay back the Iron Bank. Could be a tide turning moment. Get hype.

For fucks sake every character really does have a jetpack at this point. This shit never bothered me but at this point it's getting ridiculous. They've abandoned any idea of a rational timeline.

Not sure which part you're referencing, but I don't think Sansa ends up in King's Landing, if that's what you mean about the jetpacks.

As for the other part, it's explained pretty well how it's *possible*

I'm perfectly fine with everybody having magic carpets to fly around quickly, because it makes the pacing of the episodes so much better

I thought Bronn was for sure a goner... I also don't know how exactly they're going to plot armor Jamie out of the river when he's weighed down by armor but meh. All in all that was some crazy shit and also made perfect sense.

I dunno why the new Bran can't even hold a basic fucking conversation. So annoying. The original 3ER could frame real sentences.

Brynden Rivers was the 3ER for decades and had time to come into the powers. Bran basically just uploaded the internet to his head and is trying to make sense of it

Along the Rose Road I presume? What am I not getting?

What's the need for a time machine to cut them off on Rose Road right before Kings Landing? Ships move faster than an army and the Lannister army had to pack up Highgarden and march across Westoros.

Were they already that far? I would've thought they'd still be halfway there. I mean I've never complained about it, I've just seen a lot of it on forums throughout the internet. I think it makes everything much more interesting going this quickly

Randyll Tarly told Jaime that they got the gold in the gates of Kings Landing. So they can't be far.

Ahhh I missed that. Thanks. On another note, really confused why Dany chose to burn all of the grain coming in instead of taking it for her army

No worries. Sorry if I came off snarky. I just get irked that we have to pour through weekly posts of negativity after every episode before we can actually talk about anything else. This was a terrific episode and if people can only come on to bash little details of this one, then they should really find a better way to spend their time than watching a show they clearly don't enjoy.

On another note, how many episodes before that dagger ends up in Littlefinger's throat?

Little Finger is in the list now for sure.

Snow bent the knee in the Dragon Glass cave I think.

Jaimie fucked up. Tyrion will save his ass.

Hmmm, Tyrion saves Jaime, takes him as prisoner, turns him to their side, Jaime kills Cersei at the end?

I had the same thought. When it first turned up way back in Season 1, Littlefinger told Catelyn that the dagger belonged to him and that Tyrion won it from him. Tonight, Bran asked him whether he knows who it belongs to and Littlefinger says "No." And then he says that the question started the War of the Five Kings. I may be reading too much here, but Bran's tone in asking that question sounded to me like he already knew the answer.

Maybe this is the lie that sinks Littlefinger? Bran reveals to Littlefinger/Sansa/Arya that he knows Littlefinger owned the dagger and he tried to have him killed after the fall from the Tower (maybe to win favor with the Lannisters?), and Arya sticks Littlefinger with it. Seems plausible to me.

I believe that's a popular theory from the book readers right? The Jaimie assasin thing?

It's pretty much prophecy. Cercei is told as a girl that she will be killed by a "valonquor" (sp?) which is "brother" in Valaryian.

Guesses for next week:

- Gendry rows his little boat up to Dragonstone
- Jon heads north
- Jorah gets to Dragonstone
- Puzzle pieces shift dramatically
- Tyrion and Jaime ruinite. They sacked the entire area, Jaime will be saved, but he's not sneaking away from that battlefield.

I think next week will be about setting chess pieces back up. With three episodes left, they will need to move the storyline. Probably have some kind of battle still though.

Right on. Thanks man.

Good thoughts also for next week.

I'm thinking that we see more of Bran taking control over his abilities. Probably Sam making a big discovery in the scrolls that he is copying down. Jorah gets to see Dany, and I'm thinking at some point that he gets ordered to the Wall to join the Nightswatch.

It seems like The Bran story has to move forward soon, at least you'd think. It seems like they are setting up for some grand reveal. Though the show hasn't necessarily needed it. Very entertaining show. I was on pins and needles for that battle. Wasn't sure if Bronn was going down, I really like him. Or how that Jamie scene would play out. Good stuff overall.

I thought the cave scene was an interesting way to get Dany on board with the white walkers. Jon must've bent the knee, I wonder when/how that comes back up, if it ever does.

Wow what an episode. I can't wait to see Wiz try to complain about it.

I think we are going to get a royal wedding very shortly. That's the only way Jon can feasibly bend the knee. Plus we know he likes her "heart" ;)

I'm thinking Jon and Dany wed and then Jon heads off North with Rhaegal to fight the white walkers.

I think Jaime switches sides at this point.

1) He knows debts can no longer be repaid
2) He knows Tyrion did not kill Joffrey
3) He is close to many on the other side in Brianne / Pod / Sansa / Tyrion
4) He is (I assume) captured and helped Cat before in the same situation
5) He has seen just how out of control Cersei is
6) He's seen Dany's army in full force

I'm basing this entirely off the fact that Dany's side is "good" and Jaime has been portrayed as an endearing character. He may love Cersei too much to quit her...

SHOW SPOILER in white:
The prophecy in the book elaborated more than in the show. Someone (probably Jaime) is prophesized to kill her.

Slightly different thought than most, but I think Jon doesn't bend the knee, gets burnt (unexpectedly in the manner where people will go absolutely APE) and then they find out that he doesn't burn.

The gold made it inside the walls of Kings Landing, so the debt will be repaid.

Pretty awesome last scene. Plot armour for our favorite characters is getting to be a bit much though. Either Bronn or Jamie should be ash. Feels a cheap to have a situation where Jamie is literally charging Dany and a dragon on horseback like a moron and somehow nothing bad happens to anyone.
