Sorry to hear. It does seem like you were able to like a post in this thread before Cal posted and then decided to "both sides". It just gets tired and old really quickly when there is one side that adheres to the unwritten rule and only ever is there some sort of "pushback" when the side that adheres to the rule pipes up.
I don't know, maybe it's just me, but maybe calling someone Jihad spice and saying they married their brother maybe should elicit more of a response than just tagging the Dumb and Dumber poster.
Self regulate more, there's only one poster who continually starts political shit outside of the political threads. You want to clean this threads up? Start there.
I don't show that I posted in this thread from the time Bishop's post went up till Cal's did. I already PM'd him about it. I'm not a mod or anything, and it's an unwritten rule of course, but here we are still cluttering up the thread with off topic garbage right? Can we agree that all this back and forth doesn't really belong here, which is kind of why it's a suggestion to leave the politics out? All this is pretty childish, there's no sense pointing the finger when both sides are guilty. All this discussion just doesn't fit with the spirit of the thread. In the words of the great Oddball, don't hit me with them negative waves, man.
And he’s not even a Notre Dame fan! Yet so many here defend him because they share his views. 🤦♂️
This board has always welcomed fans from other teams as long as they follow the rules. Quite frankly you WANT other fans because they can help drive discussions and bring other points of view. I used to be over on Buckeye Planet, the admin welcomed Irish posters from another board over for the '05 Fiesta. I hung around for several years because they were cool, but at some point some new posters started pushing opposing fans out. Now that board, which used to be much more active than IE with twice the members, is a shell of it's former self. Circle jerks get boring. Bishop has been an active member for 13 years now, he's a part of this community.
