It is sort of funny that Eagle Claw and the shortcomings of the C-130 was the impetus for the development of the CV-22, and then we get the opportunity for the CV-22 to come in handy and we didn't use it. I 100% get why the C-130 and Little Birds were used instead, but I think it's kind of funny nonetheless. And while not ideal, we have literal hundreds of C-130s in the inventory and the per unit cost of an A/MH-6 is like $15 Million. It's not like we lost 5 F-35s.

Do you believe the story that 90% of Iranians want regime change? If so, why would we chose to start blowing up all of their power plants? That means for 100,000 people that will potentially starve to death over the next few months, 90,000 will be innocent US allies. Does that actually make any sense?
It is not a liberal or conservative argument. Of course, I hope it is all a classic Trump bluff, but if true, Lifelong might me correct to call us monstrous.
But honestly, would it even matter if 90% are our allies or not? Is that the kind of path you think we should be taking?

Call late last week from shaken up sister of a client. She had to go to Mexico to identify the body of her brother who had been kidnapped, tortured and killed by cartels. Worked as a contractor for DEA after years in drug enforcement. Sister could hardly recognize the body after what those animals did to him.

The straits are about to be bypassed by UAE and the Saudis faster than before. The Strait of Hormuz will be way less significant than it was 6 weeks ago.

American energy security is stronger than ever. Fortunately, the guy with no strategy set us up for success earlier this year. Maybe the awful democrats will support filling the petroleum reserves now. We have a bigger beef problem than we do an oil problem.

It’s just so easy to laugh at folks like the Fake Doctor who can’t even post correct rage bait posts. Drayer flops his position to whatever daddy Trump says. #1 has positions but those positions are just anti-me and if he stated a position well it’s different now and actually means the opposite. Is it fair to say the Iran war was essentially over on the first day(s)? We put all our eggs in the basket of destroying their govt and the citizens revolting. It didnt happen. They bent but didnt break. Everything after was just worthless/saving face. We took the huge gamble that no one else would take and it failed just like I assume every other president was told it would.
From our pov, we took out their leader but didnt come close to reaching our lofty goals. From Iran's pov they held us off and basically won.
