As an Eagles fan I love a rowdy environment but this is some real third world trash from their fans
Seriously would like someone to answer this, how long can a ref just let play go before they decide to arbitrarily go back and review a play? Why not just start reviewing shit from the 1st half too? Maybe they should abolish retroactive VAR review for penalties if play was let on and only allow review if it's called on the spot.I'm sorry but this is stupid. How can you let play go on forever and then just go back and decide to review it. What if England had scored a goal? If a player just flops around long enough they can trigger a review? Stupid.
They showed England supporters with their kids in the crowd earlier and man did it ever make me squeamish as a dad who loves taking his kids to ballgames. Some environments just aren’t meant for kids.As an Eagles fan I love a rowdy environment but this is some real third world trash from their fans
I’m a causal - is Gordon just the greatest winger of all time? He’s been on fire

By the way, I'm not arguing that it was a red card, simply the review mechanism is bizarre to me.

It's like a possible targeting happening, and then deciding to stop play and review it like 3 plays later. Very weird.I get it and i dont. It was an obvious thing that happened so I get it but so much of soccer seems to be "we do whatever we want whenever we want"
That's exactly what I was thinking.Feels like a hockey power play
No way that happensWill the ref allow the game to end with England in the lead?
