I'm all for it, but it is comically bad for FIFA to "suspend" Flo's red card. "Suspending" suggest that he may end up having to serve it at some point, which would be even more comical than the process that lead up to this point. Rescind the card altogether or serve the penalty (rightly or wrongly), but suspending the card is wild. When the USA win, they're going to have to suspend the card again. FIFA gives the NCAA a real run for its money on worst governing body in a sport.

What has happened to Brazillian soccer? I've heard people say that Germany killed it when they humiliated them 7-1 at home. It's been 24 years without a title.
Partly it is that sports all over the world have become more coached, structured, scienced. Especially defenses are more structured and better than ever. Unfortunately natural talent is not enough any more.

I just can’t root for Mexico. They’re our biggest rival and their fans are absolutely the worst. I don’t care for England, either, but their fans I had a chance to meet who were here for the WC were genuinely awesome and super appreciative of the hospitality while in the US.

England has to score *at least* one more goal. Mexico is going to be straight grabbing jerseys and borderline assaulting players the second half, England can't let that rattle them.

I'm sorry but this is stupid. How can you let play go on forever and then just go back and decide to review it. What if England had scored a goal? If a player just flops around long enough they can trigger a review? Stupid.

It’s unfortunate because the wet conditions plus the way he slid had his leg bounce up off the ball, but that’s a textbook red card.

Now why’s that not a red on the keeper? Stopping a clear goal scoring opportunity? They should have to sub in a new keeper imo
