Well Anfield will be an interesting place to be next week.

Anything is possible, last year Roma lost 4-1 at the Camp Nou, then they went home to the Stadio Olimpico and won 3-0 and moved on to the Semis. Shit was crazy.

That free kick by Messi was incredible. Nigh unblockable.

Going to the US Open match here in El Paso on the 15th... should be fun.

Pep Guardiola playing the underdog card yesterday with the media was pretty funny.

195 points in two years and the summer transfer rumors are already rolling that City will sign Bruno Fernandes and Joao Felix. It's Chelsea of the 2000s and Mourinho all over again only these owners have even more money.

That was Kompany's first shot on target outside of the box since December 2013. The man was due. What a strike.

These two teams have been tremendous. 3-6 are garbage. Then you have the rest, who have virtually no chance ever. I'm glad I was alive and lucid to have seen Leicester a few years back. Sincerely doubt that ever happens again in our lifetime.

I'm cheering for Ajax to win it all. But assaulting an elderly asian tourist, is plenty of reason for me not to cheer for Liverpool.

Thanks for judging me based on that actions of that twat. Great logic.

Never thought this before in any sport, but there should be two trophies this season: one gold and one silver, both given highest respect. Liverpool will be number two, but even if the unimaginable happened (given the last opponents) and it was City, both of those teams should be seen as champions.

I can never remember such a thing as this season, being so phenomenal over so many games.

Garbage is a wee bit strong especially with our side in the semifinals of the CL. City and Liverpool obviously the class of Premier league this year, but let's not get all high and mighty because you're having a brilliant season.

The Liverpool squad is the paragon for giving a manager what he wants and requires to get the types of performances weekly. Tottenham are antithesis (at the moment, rumors of a war chest this summer lol)

City is the example for Oil Money being spent effectively. Chelsea, at the moment, is the opposite end.

Liverpool is very much like Notre Dame football. Dwells in history, bloated self-image when doing well, talks a bit too much with no trophies to show for it.

I adore ND football and hope to one day see us at the mountaintop again.

Celtic seem to be legit trying to get José Mourinho... I can't see that happening given the situation in Scotland but they bhoys seem to feel it's not fantasy, idk....

To say they are garbage is a bit disingenuous don't you think? I believe that comment right there proves just how good City and Pool are, but takes away from those other clubs. All 4 of those clubs are somewhere around where you'd expect them to finish point wise, however, they just cannot compete with how much City has spent (on quality), and how well Klopp has played the market the last 4 years to build a team that can play his style. It should also be noted how he needed one player (van Dijk) to sure up the team to play his press and not be totally exposed.

No thanks to a silver medal. Ricky Bobby's dad was correct when he said if you ain't first you're last.

It's been garbage for the last few weeks for sure. They all dropped points, together.

Spurs have 13 losses and they're in third place. It's crazy.

Can you recall a worse Manchester United club? Garbage. Gutless garbage at that.

Arsenal I can give a pass because it's the first year after Wenger. Mostly garbage. They might win Europa League.

Chelsea is about as jekyll and hyde of a club as you'll watch in England this year. Not the most professional locker room full of players either, though I think Manchester United takes the trophy for biggest group of knobs. It's close. I still say garbage, but Sarri needs some time to get some new blood in there and change the culture.

Spurs have 13 losses and it feels like not all that long ago they were outside of the title race close enough to maybe sneak in if either of the two northern teams dropped points. They didn't, and Spurs went off a cliff in the League.

I'd give Man U some credit for that PSG win, and the spark Ole gave them, but, if we are being fair, that team was doomed to fall apart. No cohesion or direction from the beginning.

Arsenal were undefeated in, what, 22 straight. I don't care the competition they played, that's impressive. However, the defense is showing its true colors over the last three weeks with golden chances wasted to easily snatch 3rd from Spurs. Unai has some good building blocks, but it'll take 3 years or so (and patience) for him to maybe get what he wants out of the side a la Klopp.

You're right about Chelsea being Jekyll and Hyde, but that would suggest they are a team capable of finishing Top 4, no? Team chemistry a concern, but they haven't looked nearly as flailing as Man U have.

Spurs are the epitome of a very good team with not enough oomph in the side. No transfers to help Kane and Co. that became very relevant when he went down.

Again, all that proves is that those 4 teams are very good, BUT with serious cracks and flaws. You can say that about any team that finishes 3-6 in that league almost any year. Calling them garbage is harsh, and I'd say does City and Pool a disservice in how good they both have been throughout the year.

This is bananas. Barca should shut down their club. There is simply no excuse for this even if they grab a late goal or something to win on away goals.

Liverpool pulling a Roma, and beating Barca physically and psychologically. Congrats to Liverpool.
