Apparently Zelalem is moving to Dortmund in January. Not sure how I feel about that move for him. I was hoping he would move to a club like Bournemouth or if in the Bundesliga, Augsburg or Mainz.

0 - Sergio Aguero didn't have a single touch of the ball in the Liverpool box in his 90 minute appearance today. Stifled.

Good. I love it. Nice to see the defense not look awful

Big London Derby today at 1500 est. Who ya got!?!

I've got Spurs 2-1.

Need a win for obvious reasons, but also would make the final 1/2 of the season great fun to watch.

Huge game. If Chelsea wins, I'll seriously wonder whether anyone can catch them.

Both clubs are in great form and I could see almost any outcome. If I had to predict the final score, I'd say 1-1.

But as a LFC fan, I'm hoping for a massive Spurs upset. COYS.

Too bad we acted the fool against Sunderland. Still, good times ahead for Liverpool fans.

Seriously, wtf was Mane thinking with that handball. We should be gaining three points on Chelsea rather than one.

Anyway, all but Chelsea fans have got to love today's result. I hope it sets up an exciting title race/top 4 race.

To dare is to do.

Wanyama in my MOTM today. I know Dele and Christian will get the acclaim, but Wanyama (and the a lesser extent, Dembele) really bossed the midfield and didn't allow Chelsea to get going. Our wing backs, esp Danny, were phenomenal. Harry put a shift in and kept the chelsea back 3 honest. And, much respect to Mauricio (he's magic! you knowwwwww), bring on Winks. Ballsy move, but the lad has shown he's up to the task.

COYFS, lets not have a let down ... We saw this brilliance back in October when we bosses City..

Mane should be banned by Klopp from entering his own team's penalty box during set pieces, he's a liability

Moises Dembele (the Celtic one) looking likely to transfer to West Ham. sorry Camper

Hammers reportedly offering £20 million but Celtic say they won't sell in January and he's worth at least £30 million.

Doubt it happens any time soon, but it'll be an enormous profit for Celtic, either way.

No doubt. I haven't loved the Wanyama/Dembele midfield at times this year nor the amount of tinkering with the formation, which to be fair, has been largely due to injuries as much as fitting in some new talent.

Except for more of an impact from Kane (and the inclusion of healthy Lamela) the team played about as well as they have under Pochettino against Chelsea.

It's tough to ask but I wish we'd get more offensive threat from Dembele/Wanyama/Dier pairings or whomever is working in the pivot. That's why sticking Winks there sometimes has been awesome. He's small but smart positionally and he's a threat in the final third.

Dembele has 0.6 shots per game and no goals or assists in 893 EPL minutes. If he scored 10 goals a year he'd be one of the best in the world, but it'd be nice if he could chip in 4 or 5 over a year.

Maybe true on the pivot players being too defensive-minded, but they were so awesome against Chelsea. Rose and Walker dominated the wings and Dembele and Wanyama dominated the middle, so there was just no way through for Chelsea.

And that back three ... all three are so good and so composed on the ball.

Good as Winks is, I was stunned when Poch brought Winks on for Dembele with a two-goal lead. Why make an attacking change at that point?

Ander Herrera is a freakin' clown. He should have been sent off, Pogba could have been sent off as well.

Paul Pogba is overrated to the Nth degree.

Oh well.

So disappointing as a LFC fan not to take 3 from that one. But it was one of those games where Man U fans must feel the same way. Both teams had good chances not taken.

Oh well. In the form Man U were in, and considering that that was Man U's first choice team but Liverpool was missing FOUR important first-choice players (Clyne, Matip, Mane, Coutinho), it was a pretty decent result.

Big Zlatan is such a tricky bastard. That was really a great header to equalize. His finishing is just so clinical.

Pogba plays EPL like he's still at Juve, you need to be way more frantic and energetic to play centre mid in England.

He moved deeper in the second half after Rooney came on for Carrick and he completely disappeared, as he always does when he moves into a deeper role.

In fact, you could argue, and I have heard it argued by some of the English-speakers who cover Italian soccer, that he has never proven himself in any role other than the "mezzala" role that he played for Juventus, on the left of a midfield three. He always gets shoehorned into a role he isn't right for.

My first thought as well. Why would they touch their logo. Absolutely iconic.

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing, but I will say that there was some discussion of Juve's new logo on this podcast, which I listen to religiously, and the podders made some decent points in favor of the new logo. One was that, by emphasizing the "J", a letter that basically does not exist in Italian, Juve emphasizes that it is a global club that is not just the dominant club in Italy but bigger than Italy. Also, it really looks more like a fashion designer's logo than a soccer badge or crest, which makes Juve merchandise more marketable to casual soccer fans or even people who aren't fans at all. Also, the podders said that even the old badge was actually fairly new, so it's not like there was a grand tradition to upset.

Anyway, just some interesting food for thought. And that Guardian Football Weekly podcast is just generally outstanding. Highly recommended for anyone with interest in English soccer and Serie A (which generally gets second billing, over and above La Liga and Bundesliga, because the host made his name covering Serie A).
