Spurs over City 2-0, amazing start to the season with injuries and suspensions.

I'm thinking City wins the league. The fight to be top 4 is going to be crazy this year. I think it'll be 1. City 2-4. Pool, Arsenal, Tottenham, and United fighting for 3 places. Goodness, exciting.

Chelsea is Europa bound I'm thinking. Wonder how much rope Conte has.

I'll reach out too.

I wonder if we all have the same people?

Well apparently I jumped the gun when I went immediately to "must be an MLS announcement."

However, I DID hear that some MLS people were in the stadium on the down-low for the playoff game today, which is different than when they schedule a trip to be found on the public books, and they "wanted to see Cincinnati hit 30k."

They hit 31k, so we'll see what goes down I guess.

Bob Bradley becomes the first American to coach a Premier League side in Swansea. Good luck to him

I think it was harsh firing Guidolin when Swansea has had good performances lately, if not good results; but I'm delighted for Bob Bradley. I hope he turns things around. There is some decent quality in that Swansea side.

Who else is pumped for Man City/Barca?? My DVR is set.

Pep will have to go back to a back 4 for this one, right? No way you can risk your back three having to match up with Barca's front three. Gotta outnumber them in the back. Not sure if there will be any lineup surprises.

I bet he will play a back 4, but the reason a back 3 intrigues me is that it will allow us to outnumber them in midfield (pretty important for pep) and it keeps our aging, slow, shitty fullbacks off the field. Not like we're gonna keep a clean sheet regardless, may as well go for the goals

Appears that Pep is going with a mirror-image 4-3-3, with Nolito as the nine, or maybe DeBruyne a false 9? Interesting squad. Several formations possible with those 11, really.

Does Aguero have a knock? Shocker that he's left out, after he was rested for the first hour against Everton.

Surprised Bor Mon had this much success in Glasgow, missing a number of key players too... That was the game Celtic had to have. Oh well... Enjoy the group and the money it brings,...

We gave up joe hart for fucking claudio bravo. Actually thought we played just as well in the first half as barca, just should have been more clinical. We came out well in the second half, and then the bravo red card happens and all our efforts go to shit. Typical city.

The pulisic hype train is still speeding up. He's been linked with barcelona...let that sink in. Desperately hope he stays at dortmund tho, he's too important to usa soccer to mess with his development right now.

This kid isn't just a big prospect for an american...he's legitimately one of the biggest prospects in the world.

Goal and an assist today to help bvb come back an earn a draw (he got the equalizing goal in stoppage time)

He is an amazing talent. I don't want him to go to a giant club yet either. Look at what Barcelona did to Dos Santos, Bojan and many others.

plus, it just seems like dortmund is the place to be right now if you're a young star (dembele, weigl to name a few)

Only reason barca would be interested is for jersey sales. If the kid goes there, never will be heard from again. Stay in Germany!

Just to add to that, he is starting in front of several quality players. He had to earn that spot, as he was seeing spot duty for the first month, and earn it he has.

I mean , Dortmund is easily among the two or three biggest clubs on the planet that isn't among the syndicate level clubs that just have endless money... On normal level teams, BVB may be the very biggest/best.... Point is, there are only a handful or so bigger clubs (The HUGE ones) and not a single one of those actually need him.

I didn't mean to disparage BVB if it sounded like that. I meant those teams like you said that's have endless money....Barcelona, Real Madrid, Man City, Bayern, PSG etc. that buy the flavor of the month and ruin them.

Drop shade on Dortmund again, I'll cut you, real quiet, leave you here....

Got that?!

I was told that United would be dominant with Jose. Zlatan would own the Premier League, Pogba coming home...etc.

This is fun...lol

Yeah honestly it was an attempt to get him out of the woodwork.

I enjoy watching them struggle more than nearly any team regardless of sport.

I used to support United in Europe (bc Spurs were never relevant) because they had absolute steel in their side...IE Keano..

Now seeing Zlatan and Martial smiling and posing for photos with Chelsea members.. how the mighty have fallen.

Spurs back to back weeks bungled "should be wins" and could be 3 points clear.. buckle up for an existing season
