I never thought of it before, but Pulisic reminds me a lot of Lallana. He would fit in great with Klopp. (Obviously, since Klopp signed him at Dortmund.)

I think Gamboa is Rodgers's backup plan to Andre Wisdom, who Rodgers worked with at LFC, but LFC are being assholes about the loan fee. I hope they work something out.

It's weird because they are very different types of RBs. Wisdom is tall and strong, can double as a center-back or can play on the right side of a back three. Gamboa is more of a wing-back, I thought--which means he will find opportunities limited at WBA, since Tony Pulis basically plays 4 center backs.

Rodgers has already experimented with a back 3 at Celtic, correct? And it was something he experimented with at LFC as well. If he plans to do more of that, Wisdom is a great pickup for him, since he can play on the right side of a back 4 or back 3.

I wouldn't get the Gamboa signing. I wonder if that is Celtic trying to put pressure on LFC to let Wisdom go.

Yep, Wisdom is off to Austrian champs Salzburg. Good move for him.

Random, but good. I wonder if Sadio Mane had something to do with that deal. He played for Salzburg 2 years ago, if I'm not mistaken.

Celtic signed Gamboa, I like the move a lot if half of what i read is true.

It gets better, Celtic are talking to Juve about Hernanes,... and are rumored to be looking at a loan deal for Jack Wilshere... you read that correct.

Even if nothing comes form those two... the 'feel' around Celtic is certainly, completely, different with Rodgers, that's for sure.

I will happily take Nolito, Sane, Gundogan, Stones and Bravo (not a fan of the Bravo move, and Stones they overspent on), not to mention some potential young talent in Moreno and Zinchenko.

Man U definitely had a good transfer window, even if they did overspend on Pogba.

I think Juventus had the best, even if they overspent on Higuain. Bringing back Cuardrado was huge, hanging onto Chiellini was even bigger. Dani Alves on a free transfer, Pjanic is a stud, and Benatia on loan with the option to buy? I gotta give it to Juventus. Plus, they had a net income of 6.2 million pounds for the window. Not bad for all those moves.

Dortmund became absolutely loaded in depth with Gotze, Schurlle, Dembelle, Bartra, Mor, Rode, and Guerriero.

I think Leicester also had a very solid (not elite) transfer window with the only key loss being Kante and bringing on Slimani and Musa in the attack. Those 2, plus Vardy will be absolutely deadly all year. Throw in a good GK in Zeiler and maybe Kante 2.0 and Mendy and they had a decent window. Not to mention, the key cog in everything last year, Mahrez, not leaving for Arsenal.

Dude, take if from a Barca fan who was not happy to see him leave...Bravo is a STUD and you will be happy to have him. And he's done it at the highest levels, so there is no fear in his game.

I am not doubting Bravo's talent, but I was a Hart fan. Even with his occasional mishap and haphazard passing, he came in the clutch many times and was the longest standing player at the club.

As far as the Dortmund talent, Pulisic will still see some time, but he will have to take advantage of those opportunities if he wants to see more. Right now, he is probably ahead of Emre Mor, but only marginally.

Pulisic is the most gifted on the ball player I have seen in a US uniform possibly ever.. He terrifies defenders in 1v1s. And he is 17.

That is not to say he will be the GOAT, but if he puts in the work he has a great shot.

I like Nolito up top, but as unorthodox as it may sound, I would love to see De Bruyne as a false 9. That won't happen though. Idk what to expect from Pep. Very disappointed to not have Aguero, but just gotta hope they bring their A game.

Yeah I was very sad to see Joe go, he's a legend and I will always love him, but watching the team and seeing how Pep likes to play, it seems obvious that Joe would struggle and we would need someone like Bravo.
