Schweinsteiger Leaving man u... Being linked to Celtic of all places,... I mean that would be madness, surely we can't afford his wages with England blocking our cash flow like they are... I mean, no way, right??

Perhaps United would still be paying a large portion of his wages.

Coutinho is by a wide margin the best player in this Liverpool-Arsenal game. What a job Klopp has done.

or maybe I jinxed it. 4-3 now.

What a game. The era of Jurgen Klopp "heavy metal football" has begun.

That fourth goal by Mane ... Wow. He is like Raheem Sterling, but with better end product.

Set pieces still a huge problem for LFC though.

That's spot on for me. I like him better than Sterling already. His style of play is perfect for Klopp.

Love Ragnar Klavan back there. Very composed. We have had very average centre backs for years now. He's a breath of fresh air.

Pool will be a blast to watch this year. Too many weapons and Kopp gerst to focus on the league.

Anyone care for some EPL predictions? Here are mine:

1. United
2. Liverpool
3. City
4. Arsenal
5. Spurs
6. Chelsea
7. Leicester
8. West Ham
9. Everton
10. Sunderland

Unted had the best defense last year IMO, and it'll only get stronger with Shaw coming back and adding Pogba as a holding midfielder. Mkh & Zlatan mix well with youngsters Memphis, Rashford, and Martial for a big boost to scoring. Overall best roster for the EPL. Mourinho will figure it out.

Still don't love Pool's roster and their defense with Mignolet. This is based mostly on Klopp being awesome.

City's defense is pretty shaky. Bringing in Bravo over Hart is strange. Feeling like if there's an injury to Aguero or de Bruyne they aren't THAT strong. With them, they can be great.

Typical Arsenal finish, right?

I fear an even bigger slide for Spurs. Janssen might be one of the most underrated signings in Europe but we'll still struggle with depth and Champions League play. A Frankenstein last season in WHL/Wembley & some weird vibes with last year's collapse, poor Euro's for many players, and some transfer issues with our scouting dept.

I can't add much to that. Agreed on almost all points. The one exception I'd take is to Sunderland climbing into the top 10 (I'd have Stoke 10th), but that's nitpicking; who cares who finishes 10th anyway.

I could see Everton finishing even higher. You have to love what Koeman did at Southampton the last couple years: every summer they seemed to lose their best player without ever missing a beat. Bolasie and Idrissa Gueye were both smart buys. If they avoid injuries to key players, I could see Everton in the Europa League places.

@fcsteaua went in on City last night.
If you aren't a city fan I highly suggest you take a look through the timeline.

Anyone interested in joining a Togga EPL fantasy league? I've got at least 3 spots available, possibly more, depending on how flakey people are.

Check it out if you are unfamiliar:

Draft-style EPL fantasy. I did it last year and had a blast.

PM me if you are interested and I'll send you the referral code to access the league. Draft is tomorrow night, so act fast.

Celtic is a bit like ND in big, high stakes games like this... Not only will they lose, they'll lose in new, fantastic ways...

Only up 3-2 now and I can just about bet the farm they'll drop the aggregate now.

Not to take anything away from Celtic because that is an awesome win for them, but man oh man, I remember even just 6-8 years ago these Israeli teams were constantly making the Group Stage of the UCL. Now, they are on par (as a whole) with USL teams.

Edit: After looking at the data, the term "consistently" may be a slight exaggeration. They made 5 group stages from 2000 to 2010, whereas only 1 since then. Regardless, that league has weakened a lot with its UEFA coefficient falling to 26, smack between Serbia and Cyprus's league. In 2010, Israel's league was 17th. When they started it in 2001, Israel was 13th.

Just as salty as that guy was.
It was funny and you know it

Not salty haha, just pointing out the obvious. Other clubs are always gonna make fun of us, and that's fine, we may have "no history" and have all the oil money in the world but all the bitterness in the world can't stop what we're building ;)
