This is about as good as they are going to be able to do. I didn't think it would happen, but Ken Griffin fronted the money and they got it done. Considering how awful all of his candidates did in 2022 running for office in Illinois, I sincerely hope the results with Pochettino are considerably better.

No shit? I heard there was a billionaire behind it, just didn't know it was him!

City v Arsenal had everything. I laughed, I cried, it was better than seeing Wicked on Broadway.

Nothing pleases me more than BOTH teams mastering the art of Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United by completely surrounding the referee with all 11 players to cry about something. Who needs a captain? Just bring everyone over and surround the guy. Even the goalkeeper. Just come on down.

That being said, Michael Oliver was terrible, and if anyone deserved to be attacked by 22 cannibal toddlers, it might have been him. At one point he was considered "the guy". Oof.

Gary Neville waxing poetic afterward about how these two teams are by far and away the two best in England was about as entertaining as the game itself. You would have thought you'd just witnessed one of the most spectacular matches of soccer that's ever been witnessed the way Gary Neville completely stroked these two teams. They both drew Italian teams 0-0 in Champions League earlier in the week. I get what Gary was doing, but I don't get what Gary was doing.

West Ham not looking real hot. Premier League not going great for Southampton either.

Torino is at the top of the table in Italy....

Your Monday morning begins with this:

I feel that they're more than good enough to play without all of the nonsense, but that's how they go about their business. To this point, it hasn't gotten them anything noteworthy in terms of a League or Champions League trophy.

The ball was in play longer in the 2nd half yesterday than any other game this season, and Oliver STILL gave 7 minutes of stoppage time. Farcical..

Pulisic scored again in the Milan Derby. He may be the best player in Milan at the moment.
Always wanted Juve to go after him while at BBB, but once Chelsea got involved, I gave up. Glad he's landed on his feet somewhere that he can properly showcase his skill-set. And I'll always pick Milan over Inter Merda lol

To be fair, they've played 2 games down a man for an entire half holding a 1 goal lead.
