Ponchettino agrees to be USMNT coach.

He is an Argentine coach which seem to do very well internationally… and I feel like this is the best we could get but at the same time why is this the best we could get lol

He's had success everywhere he's coached. He even turned Boley's flaming pile of shit into a top 6 finish in the EPL. Last year was perhaps his best coaching job of his career and dysfunctional Chelsea fired him for it.

This guy dragged Tottenham into the top four and to a Champions League final. It's not like people at Southampton and Tottenham were winning things prior to him showing up. He won three trophies at PSG, though not the big one, and while I question his sanity for even considering Chelsea let alone going there he was able to sort it out but unfortunately whether Chelsea is owned by a Russian asshole or an American asshole, you're not afforded time there.

This is a great hire. I think it shows ambition.

They could get relegated pretty far down, but I don't see it actually happening. They've become too big of a club and they've built a massive following of supporters around the world now, especially in the USA.

Stripping them of titles won't matter. Those games were won on the pitch. It they were to award the second place finishers, that could be something. Fines probably mean little too when you consider the club in question has more money than God. They could really hammer them with fines, but the relegation part of it probably hurts the most outside of anything else that could be done.

It's easy to deduct points from Everton, Derby County, Leicester or whoever. Nobody cares.

If they are relegated, I would want them to be banned from playing in the FA cup also. No trophies outside of league winners.

I don't know how that works. I would be inclined to agree with you however. They'd probably be out of Champions League as well.

I am not entirely sure how it worked in Italy during the match fixing scandal when it came to the Copa, but clubs got relegated to Serie B and were out of Champions League.

Rumors are they are doing this now because a transfer ban is coming. Who knows. I think Boehly is just a dick.

Pretty awesome. The Premier League is probably better with Jamie Vardy back in it. It's probably going to be more boring and stale than ever before this year, too.
