anything less than 7 points is unaccceptable

Were Pulisic and Reyna in it, I'd say anything less than 9 is unacceptable. Still kinda feel less than 9 is unacceptable. Panama City is the least hostile of the Central American stadiums.

Glad Sargent and Pefok were left out of the squad. Let's see what Pepi can do in an extended run. Weah back in the squad gives a nice boost as well.

Disappointed to see no Konrad. He's been featuring every game for Marseille.

Looking real thin on the wings, but that’s expected with Pulisic and Reyna out. Still, makes the KDLF nix even more glaring.

I think Weah actually is better suited on the outside. But Pepi and especially Aaronson will likely see a lot of time out there when they have more natural positions (CF for Pepi, CAM for Aaronson). Also, if we’re only bringing one big #9, I’d rather it be Pefok whose been on a run this season.

Would like to see Joe Scally too, as he might be the most consistent American in Europe this young season.

Can't wait to see how United is going to disappoint me in 35 minutes.

I keep telling myself losing to Young Boys 2-1 when you play with 10 men is better than losing to Sheriff Tiraspol at full strength...

Atalanta has opened the door for them with a 1-0 win over Young Boys.

Good result for United. Papers over the cracks. Keep OGS there even though they play like they’re trying to get him sacked.

Poor showing in Europe by England this week.

RM going down at home to Sherrif was epic. I may or may not have gotten a hard on in the 90th minute lmao.

I was seriously wondering if he'd get sacked if they lost, even though Villareal is a decent squad who always seems to have a great defense. I still don't see Ole lasting all season.

I am enjoying watching Real and Barca struggle way more than I ever thought I would. Juventus too, although them beating Chelsea was a pleasant surprise.

Koemans' time is nigh. Two losses in CL and not so great in LaLiga. Barca is a not great team rn.

I don't think he's the issue. I mean, they'll likely sack him, but that's a free fall that doesn't have a lot to do with him at all.

Gini going to PSG was 100% the right move and he knew it.

This is what it has cost them with previous sackings:

José Mourinho - £19.6m

Louis van Gaal - £8.4m

David Moyes - £4.9m

Sane's goal at 8:35 is outrageous. As was Gnaby's counter-attack at 6:58; 8 seconds between Kiev getting dispossessed at the edge of Bayern's box, Gnabry turning on the jets and scoring at the other end.

Bayern has their group in the bag. They have 16 points out of 18 in the Bundesliga. Just a matter of who can get them out in the knockout round. The Bundesliga is a cinch.

I saw an article today that said Koeman would likely be gone already but Barca can’t afford to fire him. Omg

Whiskey, what's the key to staying engaged in Bundesliga. I have been a Bayern guy since I played FIFA 06. But...unlike the 00's, the Bundesliga isn't remotely competitive anymore.

Liverpool was bad in the first half. Only thing worse was Foden’s haircut.

Feel like dropping points at home to Chelsea and Citah adds up later come April.

Rodri’s block on Fabinho saved the match.

Crazy match.

What “saved” the match was Milner not getting sent off for an obvious second yellow.
Paul Tierney had no guts to make the correct call.
Liverpool fan spitting at the City coaching staff, nothing new for the wonderful human beings that frequent Anfield on the weekends. What a joke

If it were me, I’d have wanted that call. I’ve wanted lots of calls and they don’t always go your way.

Trent and Thiago were missed.

Didn’t see anything about spitting. Wouldn’t judge 40k supporters based on a couple of idiots. Unless it’s Chelsea or Lazio.

Not sure there is a key, because I don't really do that. I watch Bayern games live whenever I can (which is usually limited to CL matches over lunch time at a bar near my office), but mostly just catch match highlights after the fact. I don't really have time to be fully engaged with any team other than NDFB, so I don't feel too bad about keeping my Bayern fandom casual.

Did City want to sell Bernardo Silva this past summer? I'd read there was a chance they were trying to off him in the market?

If he isn't playing Sunday, Liverpool probably win that game.

I don’t follow the message board stuff much for City but the impression I got was he was available in order to get Kane. Then when that fell through, he wanted out (to La Liga I believe). Saw Laporte did as well. Rumor was $60 million would have gotten you Silva. Nobody bought. Obviously glad both stayed. Silva has always been a favorite for his work rate alone. Plus he seems like a guy you hate when not on your team but love when he is.
