So are the Where's Waldo Hoops basically our away Jersey now??

I have one of those and really like it (Celtic fan in me) though I would also like the throwback they have been rocking at home too...

Rumors of Ronaldo and Valdez to Monaco... Dear God that is a ton of money.

What, you mean he'll leave Real without fulfilling his prophecy of three national titles and four Heismans???

If the US wins their next 2 games they clinch a top 4 spot, essentially a World Cup bid. Either way we probably end up with 10 more points.

We can't sleep on Honduras...they have some talent and can play. Their speed could give our back line some major fits...

I agree. We played real well vs. Panama. But, no offense to Panama, but they aren't a team that will make it out of the group stage at the WC. We need to beat and play even with teams that are really solid: Mexico, Argentina, France, etc. (IMO they aren't top 5 teams, but still could advance out of the group stage. How well we play vs. Panama (or really even Honduras) won't show us how we match up versus these teams. Having said that we placed real well last night, so it is exciting to have the chance to do that versus a bit stronger team.

Honduras, I hope, will be taken as a revenge game. That stadium in an absolute whore to play in as an opposing player, and the US lost a tough one the first time around.

Honduras is definitely third best team in this grouping behind USMNT and Mexico. IMO.

Graham Zusi is a premier league player.

Dempsey on had two great opportunities early.

Overall looking very shakey...

Seem to have solidified some in the last 10 minutes. Still looking for a solid shot on goal.

Non euro football fan here. Being a Canuck I confess loving hockey and not much is better than playoff hockey. Best of 7 series playing every other night till its done, same as the nba. Game 1 of the finals went to the third overtime period. It makes me wonder why mls soccer doesn't play full overtime and eliminate the shootout. It's more dramatic and means more action. Thoughts? They only play 1 game per week right?

I dont think any league in the world for soccer does overtime or a shootout unless its a playoff scenario or a championship game.

Most regular season and group stage games that I've ever heard of have been 90 minutes (plus stoppage time) and then a draw. It isn't until playoffs, second games of replays, or knockout stages we see OT and, if needed, penalties.

Why draw when playing one game per week. Play their spares and go all out the whole game.

Well you only get 3 substitutes, and soccer is also a point base system. A win is 3 points and a draw is 1 point, so many teams, especially those with less talent try and play for a draw. Also a lot of these guys run quite the distance in a game, to add to that could hurt teams.

I definitely felt the same way as an American watching soccer for the first time a couple years ago, but I now appreciate the strategy and gamesmanship used in soccer included even when playing for a draw.

That was a handball. Regardless, you just got bury that. sheesh.

Once again, it amazes me there isn't more Graham Zusi transfer talk. I seriously like him more than any player on our roster.

I still love Dempsey, Howard and Bradley, but I am pretty much right there with you on Zusi. That kid can play - he has been AWESOME lately for us.
