Gettin' REALLLLLLLLY hype for December 14th.
(Actually really hype for Dec. 6/7/8, because *my sources* should know where FC Cincinnati stands after the club's presentation to MLS)
I hope Cincinnati can beat out Nashville and Sacramento. I don't see Detroit really being in it - it's a three team race. Would be a great thing for Cincy. Have the stadium funds been approved?
They're expanding too quickly... I hope they pump the breaks after this...
The official vote happens here in about a half hour, but it passed one vote through a committee already, so it's basically a done deal.
They'll get their infrastructure money from Cincinnati/Hamilton County, and then the team is on the hook for any cost overage on the infrastructure project, if I understand things correctly.
Is Raheem Sterling the best player this season in the EPL? I really think it is a question worth asking.

I don't always have the time to watch every minute of a Man City match, mainly because I watch 3 or 4 Serie A games a week, and at least 2 or 3 Bundesliga. But whenever I do see them, Silva is still the magician pulling the strings, and De Brunye might be their player who is consistently playing at a ridiculously high and efficient level. KDB rarely loses the ball and is a workhorse in the middle. I would take him over and Man City player.
Yeah. KDB is their best player but Sterling has come up huge this year. By far the best he’s played since joining City

Mark your calendars.

Considering how much they paid, those first 2 years were certainly a disappointment. How many years does he have left on his contract? Was it a 5 years deal originally? So does that leave him with 2 to go?
when you pay that much for a 21 year old, you're doing it with the future in mind. his first couple seasons had the growing pains any reasonable fan would have expected. now is the time to reap the rewards of the investment.

KDB...Salah... two no brainers IMO
I’m biased, but Pep has to get a ton of credit. You watch Sterling now, and he understands the game soooo much better than he ever did before. That could be maturity, but you listen to Pep’s former players talk about Pep, and you have to think he has played a huge role in Sterling’s stunning development.co-signed. RaS is playing the best football of his career. The knock on him was always that he was capable of great things thanks to his speed and strength on the ball but the end product just wasn't there. Well, now we are seeing some end product.

I never thought Sterling would fit in once Pep arrived at Man City, because his 2015 form was so anti-Pep. But man, I was so wrong. Kudos to Sterling to working hard and being open to tough coaching.
If you ever get a chance to do a deep dive on Pep, it’s worth it. The guy is just an incredible coach. Henri, Iniesta, and Xavi (among others) have illuminating thoughts on him. I’ve never been a Man City fan, but they are must see TV now.
Expansion finalists are making their final, official pitches to MLS today/tonight in New York.
Legggooooooooo
What are the chances of MLS adopting a promotion/relegation format. With the recent expansions, MLS could continue until reaching, say 30, and divide into two 15 team levels.
I doubt it would happen in the US, and I think it would be a tough sell to all the MLS teams as well. Though it would be interesting.
I have no dog in this fight whatsoever but just want Cinncy in on account of Lion... lol
Go FCCinci. Hoping today is a good day and you get some good news from your contacts.
