Bellerin signed an extension with Arsenal today. Really glad to have him locked up at RB for the foreseeable future.

YES! If I am Gulati, I go with Arena. Caleb Porter won't be the worst choice either. Also gotta remember this brings one of our most talented players back into the mix, Darlington Nagbe, who kept turning down call ups because Klinsmann. I wonder if Benny Feilhabber gets back in the mix.

As in Bruce Arena? For real? I love BA obviously but don't see it happening... Every other name mentioned I'd be ecstatic over.

I will say this about Juergen. He failed in many aspects as a coach, but US Soccer is in a better place now from a talent, structural, and technical perspective than it was five years ago. He didn't get the job done on the field, but he fixed many huge structural problems that will help all the coaches to come succeed.

Totally. It's not unlike what happened when he was with Germany. He wasn't the right long-term manager but he was a big part of getting the house in order.

Reports are Arena has agreed... Wow, I never thought they'd go back to BA or Bradley just bc... Crazy, my only real hesitation is he's had the job slready, could be an odd feel,... And his outward stance on forgien born players... That's one place where I stood with Jurgen... Get the best talent wherever you can get it.

So... he is sort of like Team USA's Brian Kelly??? (I kid, i kid)

For real though, I don't think going back to Bruce Arena is a good move. Need someone fresh who can strike energy into this team. There is a lot more young talent here than we may have ever had.

Can't tell if BA is agreeing to just interim until a long term is found or if he is all in... Hard to imagine BA just keeping a seat warm but who knows.

Wahl tweeted it will be through 2018 WC with Ramos coming after. A Tab Ramos coached USMNT would be a disaster. He is TERRIBLE

Who would be your preferred choice?

Porter, Pareja or honestly, my first choice, Marsch... Give me someone that'll take the fight to the opponent, press and move forward... That's JM all day... Enough of this endless sitting back and countering bs as if we are constantly out matched.... It's 2016, we are not short on talent anymore.

That can't be true,... What are we doing, just moving a conveyor belt?

I have little doubt Bradley could be a great coach. Totally serious.

Can we fake Michael Bradley's birth certificate so he becomes foreign born?? Please

Honestly I think Bradley will thrive under Arena... no more experiments, no more playing players out of positions... Arena will play players where they belong. I'll never forget when JK tried playing Bedoya at CDM and got torched. I think he will play Bradley in his natural deep role rather than attacking.

Klinsmann overthought everything and made it too complicated. With BA it will be back to basics which I think is what the USMNT needs right now.

I'm cautiously optimistic.

I'm too young to remember Arena's first stint as US manager...what are his tendencies, etc?

Beat me to it. This move will prob benefit Bradley more than anyone. He's SOOOOO much better than he shows in Kilns system...
