Total of 177,000 Chevy Volts were made at the point they were discontinued in 2019.

Last year Tesla produced 1.85M vehicles.

GM got bailed out in the financial crisis to save their unions. Let's not pretend GM hasn't gotten their share of subsidy.

Elon has been turned on by the zealots b/c he got red pilled politically. They aren't serious about the environment, just control.

Large swaths of the South, Texas and Florida are going to be essentially unlivable sooner rather than later for large parts of the year due to increased wet bulb temperatures and rising sea levels.

The increasing temperature issue is going to have a huge impact on college football.

I’m confused- is this a Big Ten pilled post meant for the realignment thread?

Meh, I’m always a bit chilly anyway.

Looks like we may need some new scientists.

Every climate scientist prediction has been wrong thus far, and yet we're not allowed to question climate science. It's almost as if they trumpet any data that supports their disaster theories and squelch anything that goes against it (Which is exactly what happens according to former climate scientists).

Kamala is super serious about climate change but definitely isn't banning fracking. The tone on energy debate was markedly different last night - no teeth in the climate cudgel and Harris dodged hard.

How many times has she clearly stated she supports banning fracking and why does that not matter?

Takes the time to mention that Greek Origin of Hysteria ( "of the womb") to drive home the point that climate issues disproportionately effect females......we need to think about the intersection of gender and the climate crisis blah blah blah only to come back around to admonish people from using the word hysteria at the end.

If not I agree but restoration specialists are able to do some pretty incredible things to restore old and damaged paintings.

Assuming their was some type of protection over the painting? If not the art/ museum curator should be in jail with pink
yes it was covered in glass but the judge did say in the case they were lucky no soup seeped into the painting around the edges

"It's not like I killed somebody!" is a great defense for someone who attempts murder.

I'm assuming from your post that it was either okay because it was covered or the sentence was to severe?

No you assume wrong, I would have been just as annoyed with the museum for not having protections in place when they not their are crazy people out there that have tired this at other places as well.

Vandalism and terrorism are crimes. Choosing not to obscure a work of art behind glass is not a crime.

Uh I’d beg to differ that not protecting priceless pieces of art (some of which are only loaned to the galleries and are owned by private collectors) is negligent and they can be held legally liable for damages incurred to to their negligence

Edit calves just be me on the negligence…

This isn't about the environment, but is just as stupid.
