really sucks

but as a Raider fan... we're really putting together an All Star coaching staff.

It looks like the Raiders actually give a fuck about winning all of a sudden

Bummed and excited at the same time

Sucks, but he’s responsible for getting the best modern RB ND’s had, developing the room, and stockpiling it with talent we haven’t seen the likes of since Holtz. I’ll hold my breath in the spring window, but this can and should be a home run as others have said

Marcus at least owes it to Hammock to make an offer… he “only” makes $670K currently. You either get a great coach or you get the guy that fueled this season a nice raise

Hammock would be insane. But would freeman go for a guy that beat him? Egos can be a funny thing.

We knew it was only a matter of time on this promotion, but damn would have thought he would have held out for a better backfield
He gets to coach under one of the more respected coaches in the game and its someone who he has some connection to considering his dad coached under Carroll for 7 years when he was with the Seahawks.

That's too bad. I kinda figured he'd leave for some MAC head coaching job (and we'd have him another year since he hadn't by now). But Pete Carroll is tough to turn down.
But he has built a hell of an RB room. Now go find a new coach to keep it growing. Mike Hart is currently unemployed?

Every year I look at our RB room and think to myself how fortunate we are to have the the RB coach we have. What he has done for ND in terms of our RBs has been super appreciated. He will be missed. By far my favorite positions coach.
He did an excellent job. Good eye for talent and developing them.
