A&M has improved their national profile this season but over the previous two, it was 9-4 and 8-5 seasons.



Compare that to ND, 12-1, 11-2, and 10-2. With two undefeated regular seasons in there.

Unless Fisher has a more lenient policy on assistants interviewing than Kelly (if it's for a lateral position, better plan on taking it because you're not not welcome back) then you have to think there's a good chance that if he actually interviews it means he's serious about coming back. No?

Honestly, I've been very skeptical that he would come back. But yes, I would think if there is indeed an interview, it's got to mean there are some serious intentions.

With that said, I haven't seen this reported anywhere else so hopefully it's legit intel from OFD.

I’m not sure. I listen here and there. He said something a long the lines of it’s the only source I have and it’s reliable then went on to say he also doesn’t go digging for sources. Maybe it’s just rumor? I’m not sure

True. At the time of the post 13 points in the 2Q still doesn’t seem to warrant a “uh” type moment regardless. The opt outs are noticeable while at the same time you can see how much of a system this UNC offense runs as still.

Elko is a dawg on the recruiting trail, so that'd be a huge step up. If he's realistic as a replacement, I'm good with him coming back. Provided he's not a 1 year guy again; that would suck but hey, kick that can down the road as long as you need.

As for why Elko may want out: y'all really don't get how awful Aggies are. It is a cult, and awful. You can't escape them either. Plus it's nice not to have to face Devonta Smith or Jerry Jeudy every season lol
