However, my feelings on him were confirmed. He’s a talent but the talent, at the moment, I don’t believe outweighs the inconsistency. He’s too inconsistent to win double digit consecutive games. Especially against better teams. At least not yet. A few thousand passes from now after Hartman takes ND to the playoff. I’d love to see what that looks like then.

Agree with this. He needs reps, but ND can't afford to give him those at this point. MF and TR clearly believe(d) in him, but this year was a lost year for him in so many ways.

They were all over SC's nuts until the 4th quarter. Jesse Palmer at halftime "The only way ND has a chance to win this one is if Buchner turns it around." Fucker, we were down one TD at that point and got the ball at the half. Ended up running for over 200 yards 2nd half. Suck it!
