I've read Granderson was a Braves fan and I've read he was a Sox fan whcih would make sense since he grew up in Chicago's south suburbs. If he is a Sox fan, you picked a perfect spoiler for this series. I always wanted the Sox to pick him up but the Yankees went full retard on him and it wasn't in the cards.

I don't even want to tell you what they were talking about here in LA on the radio and from someone else who I can't go into. Price is a given for Haren. The next three are where it gets interesting. Kazmir, Zimmerman and........... Greinke.

They can afford a lot of things because of their cheap, young stars. It will be interesting.

And I'll stick with shoe in. The Braves should have won 5 in the 90's and won 1. The Cubs are set up much better at the plate than the Braves were. They just have to buy arms. I'm not sure how old you are Jayhawk but if you look at the 70's Dodgers that LaSorda brought from Albuquerque to LA and it's very similar.

I'll be quietly in your corner as long as Schwarber is there. If not for Rodon, he would ahve been a southsider.

Shoe in? In what?

It is a shoo-in that the majority of Cubs fans will turn into a worse version of Boston fans once they win the WS.

As much of a NL guy I am, I can not get behind the Cubs, ever. I saw what the Sox fans turned into firsthand, even overseas, and I know Cubs fans are essentially the same ilk.

So I am excited that the Mets are going to the Series again, where the Royals will tear their hearts out due to a Denkinger-type call. The circle of life.

I know man. We're young and just can't get it going without home run balls. Plus when you give up a run or two in the 1st every game in the NLCS against this type of pitching you will not win many games.
