I strongly suggest you change it to "The Coon" rather than just coon

Done. Although that makes logging in a real bitch, lol.

Change it to Greg and just put Bryant's calves as your profile pic lol

No problem with the jokes as long as you're going along with them rather than trying to make it into something it's not (like me actually having a thing for Bryant/Jaylon/Redfield, lol).

I always liked "Cooner" or "The Cooner."

JohnnySkillz always called me 'coontah'. I considered that. I don't like the double 'capitalization' and 'space' in 'The Coon' for log in purposes, but I think it's the most catchy.

I'm personally just getting tired of seeing them All. The. Time.

I think it should be "Koon" instead of "Coon," mostly for the reasons listed above.

All right, folks, I was scatting with the JohnnyKillz assigned moniker. It would have been simpler if his name was pronounced "keen."

I lived in FL from age 6 to age 28. Once I became "worldly-wise" I realized how derogatory and offensive the term is. Even while I was in high school there were references to C*** Town and N***** Town to denote parts of Orlando.

I spent a good bit of time chastising. It was just an attempt to deflect the focus. K-ja, I have to say that I'm not all that comfortable with even your revised choice.

It's not my call. Maybe a simple JAK would do.

Then I could quip "You don't know JAK!"

First of all, my name is pronounced 'Keen'. Only person who's ever pronounced it right on the first try was my English 150 professor.

I had no idea 'Coon' was so offensive. I like it because of the South Park character. Personally, I think people who try to make 'Coon' a racist thing are just looking for drama, but maybe I don't know enough about the nickname, IDK.

I'll change it to 'Koon' so it's not taken the wrong way.

Going freaking broke on vbucks messing with my username today

I was about to toss a few vbucks your way until I noticed your sizable stash.

Poor Little Rich Boy!!!

[Oh, and I always thought it was pronounced "keen" until all this cropped up.]

Kudos to you, you're one of the few, the proud... wait, not even enough to call it 'a few', lol.

Anyone aware of any driving ranges that are open? I'd like to swing the sticks, but I'm not seeing driving ranges listed on any of the near by courses.

Edit: Found one.

Where'd you find one? Westerville golf center has heated tees and there is one at Polaris as well but I don't remember the name.

Golf Club of Dublin. There were people playing 18 today:

If anyone ever wants to go in the Columbus area, let me know. Just know that I'm ~50 shot per 9 hole kind of golfer, but I am excellent with the foot wedge. Talked to a ND alum of 1965 at the course who recognized me by my bag:

Nice, that's a decent course to play. Try any of the Columbus municipal courses except for Wilson road. I really liked turnberry and mentel memorial. Airport gc is a decent one too. Shamrock is really short but fun for confidence and Thornapple is pretty solid and never really busy. All of those are reasonably priced.

Hey guys and gals, I am going to be in Columbus one day as it's a good halfway point to Myrtle Beach. We need to stop because the boys (3&5) would never take the whole drive. I guess my main question would be what is (are) the best one or two things to do in Columbus for a family with kids ages 3&5? If you want to throw in a kid friendly restaurant that serves a good local beer that would be awesome too. Thanks in advance.

Since the boys are at the age where urinating in public may be more funny and considered an accident as opposed to intentional, I would find a 'proper' place on the OSU campus and have them accidentally whip it out and let it go.

There is a place in Polaris on the north side of Columbus called Magic Mountain, they have go-karts, a bunch of arcade games, and I believe laser tag. If you don't want to eat there, there are also a lot of good restaurants in that area too.

There's a restaurant called BJ's that is family friendly but also crafts its own beers. Also in the Polaris area previously mentioned-- Never had a bad meal there.
