The problem I have with the current system is it benefits teams like Michigan or TCU who literally schedule nobody for their OOC games. What would Clemson’s ranking be if instead of losing to ND they played Connecticut? They’d be a 11-1 with a one point loss to a good South Carolina (also OOC) team. Instead, they have zero chance even if they win the ACC.12 team playoffs literally open the door for a 2 or even 3 loss team to get hot and win it all. My max for expansion has always been 6 (top two get a bye) or 8. That's it. Look at the current rankings and make a case for any team ranked worse than 8 to be given an opportunity to win a national championship. You can't.
Thanks. So yeah, I could see a situation where there are a couple northern games, which would be fun.The top four teams get a first round bye. Teams ranked 5-8 host the first round on campus.
will be interesting to see how they finagle seeding to get hte matchups they want in the locations they want.Thanks. So yeah, I could see a situation where there are a couple northern games, which would be fun.
Duggan is the definition of “gamer”.
TCU comes back to tie it.

He’s got it done when it has mattered most all season.Hot take - he’s a more, by a pretty large margin, outstanding player than Caleb is. Only game I’ve seen of TCU, however.
How do you take the ball out of Duggan's hands two plays in a row??FFS can't get half a yard. I think you gotta call something different there.
TCUs inside run game hasn’t been great all game so of course they go with that. Lol.FFS can't get half a yard. I think you gotta call something different there.
Right? Ride with what got you to that position. How do you take the ball out of Duggan's hands two plays in a row??
Riley not trying to one up his brother? How do you take the ball out of Duggan's hands two plays in a row??
That’s was a great game
I sure hope this isn't true. I will be literally sick if UM gets to play either trash TCU or trash OSU in the playoffs and we played the stinking '85 Bears when we made it.Pretty fucking stupid this game doesn't even matter. TCU is in anyways.
Yeah I wouldn't be so sure UM will beat OSU again.I sure hope this isn't true. I will be literally sick if UM gets to play either trash TCU or trash OSU in the playoffs and we played the stinking '85 Bears when we made it.
Who else would they put in? 2 loss Alabama who didn't even make their conference title game?I sure hope this isn't true. I will be literally sick if UM gets to play either trash TCU or trash OSU in the playoffs and we played the stinking '85 Bears when we made it.

B12 plays round robin so they face every conference member making a championship game redundant & meaningless other than money. TCU already beat KSt in the regular season and that was their first loss so I think they still get in. I how every favorite loses their respective CCG but I can’t see Purdue upsetting scUM or LSU upsetting UGA. Would be hilarious though and further prove that CCG do more harm than good.Despite what Herbstreit said I don't see how TCU gets in with that loss. I hope they do, but they're a Big 12 team. OSU would win every big 12 game by 21 if they were a member. Hope I'm wrong.
If OSU can’t get a run game going they would get trashed again.Yeah I wouldn't be so sure UM will beat OSU again.
