LFG!! His first call needs to be to Bryce and tell him it's time to get him playing like his daddy.

So hiring Aaron Donald’s DL Coach might help DL recruiting
JJ Watt's college coach too. Can say, hey I took not one but two guys from 0* prospects and turned them into the two most dominant pro d-lineman of their generation.

Edit: actually he was only Watt's coach, wasn't at Pitt when Donald was there.

Not sure why anyone would want to be in the Lane Kiffin business. He wins, sure - but not enough to ignore the headaches that come with it.
Would be hilarious if Ole Miss just bought up his entire staff and kept them.

It feels borderline incestual how close to home Dabo keeps his hires and his roster management... I feel like it's something only South Carolina could produce :)
Do you think it's because he doesn't want to be challenged? Insulating himself with yes men? He's hiring a lot of former players. It's very odd. Paying them what can be called cost efficient salaries too by all accounts.

Prob less complicated than that. I'd bet he thinks guys that have been in the program understand best what he's trying to do and what the expectations are.

That they might be yes men or willing to work for lower pay is a (beneficial) byproduct.

Just saw a story on CBS Sports app about possibility of Cignetti and Mendoza going to the Raiders. Probably click bait but I’m here for it.

Rich Eisen mentioned it on his show. He said if was the Raiders Cignetti would be his first call. Don't think there's anything else to it. Who would want to coach the Raiders?

Not a big NFL guy, but just watching from afar, it seems that half the league fires their coaches every 2-3 years. I get the money is good but these guys can only be recycled so many times as HC before they have to settle for asst coaching gigs if they want to stay in the NFL which I”m sure most of them do.
