If they expect to contend in 2024, it is hard to comprehend the paradigm shift that would need to happen between right now and spring training 2024 in order for that to happen. They have a horrible farm system, a core that isn't any good and injury prone they want fans to believe in and they don't spend money. The biggest contract they've ever given out is Andrew Benintendi. Think long and hard about that for a moment. He's a guy. He's no better than whatever they have in Triple A

I don't know who the hell is running this team. Rick Renteria got bounced and he had a reputation for developing young players. Jerry hired Tony LaRussa when his GM (and Kenny) wanted A.J. Hinch. They did nothing to expound on the 2021 season, got rid of LaRussa again, hired someone from the Kansas City Royals and their window has now closed. The individuals who broke this, rebuilt it, then broke it again are all still here. Rick Hahn is going to continue to do this as long as he wants and be snide with reporters knowing full well that anywhere else....ANYWHERE ELSE....in sports and he's out of a job.

This team sucks. They are telling us they're bringing back the core next year and expect to contend. They've never been to consecutive postseasons in their history as a franchise. Why should anyone believe anything they say? Shame on anyone that purchases a ticket from this point forward. I wouldn't take free tickets right now. There's no point.

All of this. Ricky certainly got the short end of the stick with 2 orgs. He is a good baseball teacher.

He did nothing wrong with the White Sox. 35-25 in the Covid season, lost a "playoff" 2-1. They canned him when the team was ready so Jerry could hire his boy LaRussa when the GM wanted AJ Hinch. Simple as that.

Quite a few thirty somethings on that list that will be very expensive. There is a right way and wrong way to build a championship team. They had a core after 2021 and they did not do anything to make that team better. The results were on the field in 2022 and 2023.

It's a weird situation. Who is in charge?

No one will be talking about them after yesterday. Cubs are going to try and make a run, Bears season is starting, Northwestern has more lawsuits coming at them right now than Trump. They're off the hook until winter.

Tom Hamilton is the best in baseball. Have had the privilege of listening to his play by play since I was a young lad. No one is better!

Ramirez said in an interview that he hates that Anderson disrespects the game. That fight was more than Anderson standing over him. Anderson got flattened. The whole thing was glorious. But Hamiltons call of it was special.

I thought Ramirez overreacted to Anderson standing over him. I didn't think he stood over him with any malicious intent at all but watched in real time and didn't see it again so maybe I'm wrong.

Anderson overreacted to a finger wagging and then got put to sleep.

Pretty dumb overall which sums up Anderson and the Sox season.

In an interview with Ramirez there was more to it than just the standing over him. It’s been brewing for a few games now. Ramirez, in the moment, ended it…..

With no context to what started it or who these people are… Ramirez got in a blind flailing shot with the wrong side of his fist. TimA looked more seasoned just couldn’t connect with all the players intervening. If I’m Ramirez I’m happy with the outcome, if I’m TimA I’m pissed at my teammates.

Ramirez was definitely in defense mode and had enough offense to get the win. Anderson folded like an accordion

Odor’s was a great punch, but Bautista tanked it. TA getting flattened made this one way better IMO.
