I KNEW you’d neg that post lol 😂
He became absolutely insufferable after that World Series in 2005. Maybe he always was.

When Steve Stone came aboard I watched with sound for a while. It still sucked.

His ranting and ramblings about how much he disliked sabermetrics told me everything I needed to know about him. I heard him wax poetic about it during a broadcast when Oakland was absolutely destroying the Sox. It was fantastic in every way.

Ramirez threw a wild punch and got lucky the side of his fist hit Timmy in the right spot. Still, ta needs to know when to shut up

How about you worry about catching up with them in the goddamn standings!

Christ, TA infuriates me. Sometimes, he's enjoyable and then he does and says dumbass shit that irritates the crap out of me and brings unwanted attention to the franchise.

Any attention is good attention these days. Something else to talk about besides the standings.

I mean, does it though?

At best, it gives you a brief few second intermission, but it ALWAYS circles back to the results.

And then there’s more of this coming out. Rome is burning for Jerry and he hates these kind of articles. Maybe this brings some change but I doubt it

Names have been named. Grandal is gone, Moncada just has never seem to care. Eloy, I am indifferent about, as when hes healthy his numbers look good.

He tried. When he spoke up, the rest of the team turned on it. Giolito led that charge, in fact.
Did he though? He always seemed pissy because he thought he was still a major league starter and the Sox weren't buying that. His post Sox record seems to indicate that they were right

Yeah, he did.

He came to the White Sox as a World Champion, Cy Young winner and two time all star. He should have had a legitimate voice about how the clubhouse should have conducted itself at the time. He wasn't pitching like he was ten years before, but he was a veteran starter brought in to bring leadership to a young team, as you stated earlier.

He did, in fact, try suggesting guidelines for the clubhouse and his suggestions were met with revolt from the younger guys. So that was that. Great Grandpa Sleepy Tony let the other teams throw at Yermin for swinging at a 3-0 pitch and let everyone else run amok. Another romantic chapter in franchise history. Keuchel is gone and the same shit team remains. He was one of several problems.

Keuchel just started yesterday for the Twins and is back in the Majors, the White Sox are still shit. Everything Middleton is saying suggests that Keuchel had valid criticisms at the time about how the team behaved, regardless of how his performances had fallen off.

Grandal coming on the score in a min to talk... This is all time just getting worse for the Sox PR team right now. Also nice leak via TA agent to the media to get the attention off of him a bit haha.

What's absolutely maddening about this, is that I've basically washed my hands of this franchise. I am not watching them, not tracking their progress (or lack thereof), but they still find a way to get in my feeds because on top of being absolutely horrendous on the field, they manage to be an absolute circus act off it.

Seriously, Jerry needs to either shit or get off the pot at this point. This is the LOWEST POINT in franchise history under his watch, and that's saying A LOT. It's not just the losing, it's not just the utter waste of a competitive window with the talent accumulated. It's the absolute embarrassment these worthless incompetents display on seemingly a weekly basis in the press. It's like, they just want to add salt to the wound. Hey guys, Sox lose their 8th game out of 10, 11-2 today, and in other news Kenny Williams applauds how great the clubhouse culture is, and then 3 minutes later, we hear that Moncada slept with Grandal's wife. It's like the leadership in this organization is one giant Jason Garrett clapping gif.

For the love of God, let me ignore this dumpster fire of a franchise in peace!

Moncada's body language says it all - the guy makes walking to the plate look like a struggle.

And they did everything possible to play him over Burger. Glad they traded him so he doesn't have to play behind this loser.

Imagine knowing all this and instead of trading these losers you keep the team together bc you think you'll compete next year.

Especially Eloy if what is being reported is true. If in fact teams came calling, he should have been shown the door. He has talent sure, but he is always injured and apparently a clubhouse cancer.

Paying Moncada was just another mistake in a long list of them.

I don't believe that you have that correct about Eloy being a clubhouse cancer. From what I have read he is a liked teammate by all.

Rogers called out grandal, moncada, and Eloy. The first four being no friend to any of the pitchers, the seconds try for being lazy. Not sure that equates to bring a cancer for Eloy, but I sure wish the guy could stay healthy.

I understood it too be - Grandal is no friend of pitchers and a cancer, Moncada is a lazy cancer and eloy is just lazy.

I'd like to personally tell Jose Ramirez to fuck off because if not for him I could still be ignoring this wretched team in peace. Instead, he goes and knocks out TA on Saturday and suddenly everyone is airing dirty clubhouse laundry from the last four months.

I'm sure Rick Hahn thought he was going to be able to lay low for a while after the trade deadline. He had to come out and answer questions again yesterday.

It really is time for Jerry to sell the team. New owners can burn down the entire front office and start fresh.
