It's obvious to anyone who's not in meltdown mode just how much better the passing game has gotten game over game. The problem is that the improvements overall have been incremental. But I'll add this: Week 1 they scored 0 offensive touchdowns; Week 2 they scored 1; Week 3 they scored 2 offensive touchdowns. With this kinda progression the rest of the league realistically only has 1 maybe 2 more weeks until they are overwhelmed by the offensive production.
Sorry y'all, I wasn't expecting the Bears to improve at this rate.

Imagine if this OL wasn't a dumpster fire.

Just show progression. This isn't the year. They have Carolina's second round pick in the draft. The division games are all coming at the end. Expectations shouldn't be sky high. Show progress, get some wins against the division (at home vs GB would be tremendous PR), bring the Mother Hugger along because in the end he's still a rookie QB.

He's certainly showed growth week to week which so really all you are asking for. Couple more games to add some wins before things can get really tough.

Even though it was Carolina that kind of game builds a lot of confidence for the team. Defense is elite. Brisker is so fun to watch play. Who would have thought that a rookie qb and a $100m WR would need a few weeks to build chemistry, but it’s there and I love it. That toss to 2 last week for the touchdown against the rams, was an elite ball.

This game has effectively proved that a QB who has 3 seconds to release the ball performs better than one who has 0.5 seconds.

Anything else is strictly hyperbole for at least another year.

It really goes to show that all the Bears fans complaining about Braxton Jones had no idea how much worse it could get. That was Webb and Omiyale level of play from the rookie 4th rounder.

Washington gave this game away. And this is why I would not be a good owner. I would fire this coach for not going for it in fourth and inches

Skin fans need the win-it'll take them 3 hours to drive home and the W will keep them sane. No big loss. Ha!

This was honestly as heartbreaking a loss as you can get outside of a division foe.

Your franchise QB plays like ass all game, terrible coaching, team looks insanely flat, but you gut through some key drives and finally get CW some confidence, take the lead, only to give up a hail f*cking mary. Had three timeouts by the way. Could've easily called on and made sure your defense was set. But no. Yeah, I'm done defending Flus. He needs to be fired. This was a master class on coaching malpractice.

This fanbase deserves SO much better than this.

The silver lining:

This team seems “decent” enough to deliver an excruciating, stomach punch game.

They haven’t moved the needle for me in years, they certainly did today.

It's also why you rush more than 4 there, with the length needed. Send 6.

There was a fairly blatant hold on that last play, but you can’t expect any sort of flag on such a low percentage, desperation play.

It was tipped off his hand too!!
What a complete Ass. He’s gonna be seeing that one for a while. A fourth round rookie?! I can only hope they give him the private Pyle treatment. These guys are paid pros so no pats on the back telling him that he’ll get em next week. Made his coaches look like shit. This ought to be fun in the film room. Others sucked balls on that play too. The D line was gassed and jogging after the QB. He was able to set and wind up like he was throwing the javelin!
