Yea they have that in the demo. It's pretty cool but can get kinda annoying when they show a meaningless game. I like it though

Still nowhere near the level of highlights 2k5 was rocking. This won't have video highlights of other games. Just simple score/stat updates.

I hated last year's game and dumped it for The Show.
First time I ever got rid of an NCAA game without having the next one in my hand.
The demo plays really well, but I'm still not sold.
I'm waiting at least two weeks after release and going to follow the Operation Sports board for their brutal honesty before buying.

Same with Madden, who I haven't bought in 3-4 years.

Same here boss...Last year's demo was great too.
But the end product IS STILL BROKEN. 12 still has major major issues they just gave up on.
I just got a 50 dollar gift card for my birthday that may eventually make me break down and get NCAA 13 from Amazon with the 44.99 preorder price...I'd never actually spend my own money on an EA product beyond NHL or Tiger. Ben needs to go from Tiburon!

Wow Notre Dame has very favorable rankings. USC, Texas, Oregan, Wisconsin and LSU are the best teams in the game with an overall 99 ranking. But behind them, the Irish are tied with Michigan, Bama, FSU, Clem, UGA, and Oklahoma with an 97 overall team rating.

And finally Notre Dame is back to the Highest prestige rating of 6 stars. Quite frankly it was insulting last year when they weren't. Overall there are 13 teams with 6 star prestige all of which you would normally expect, except Boise St??

Just by the ratings alone I'm pumped for this game, especially with the 86 overall 88 speed Everett Golson. Who I'm assuming will be a sophomore when first comes out because they usually don't input the redshirts at release. Oh well just going to have to wait for the named rosters to come out a few days after release.

Are these complete WR and RB listings? If so, what kind of ratings would you guys give Ferguson, Brown and Mahone if you were creating them to add to the roster?

I like to download named rosters a few days after release from some guys at Operation Sports, and then tweak things - adjust numbers, fix gross ratings mistakes (Rees' speed as example), and turn some older players (EA usually has 2 or 3 non-scholarship seniors on NDs roster) into freshman that were originally not included on the game roster.

Late to the party but it gives Golson, Toma and Jones etc there actual numbers.

Double numbering this year? Years before only one player would get the number, as in Te'o would be 5 and Golson would be 13 or something

They give double numbers if both players are "established" for lack of a better word. If they are already contributors/starters, EA does pretty good with it. Golson didn't have 5 and Tuitt didn't have 7 last year because they were freshman, and EA's rosters are probably started before Spring games are even played. Also, Hendrix and Blanton were both given 12 in the game last year for reference.

they have the new and the old... best of both worlds...

still wish you could create alts for real teams so I could make throwbacks (like the ones under Ty and Davie.. loved those) for Notre Dame IN GAME

yep... I remember they did this last year too... put it up for an hour or so then took it down and re did it about a day later...

TRUST ME... I saw the unis in that link and they were all updated correctly...

New helmet color in teambuilder doesnt even remotely resemble the real thing...and I'm not suprised. Also they made a really lazy attempt at Oregon's Rose Bowl helmets. My only hope is that the helmets look more like the real thing in the game than it does on teambuilder. Apparently anything metallic colored isn't on the color wheel at EA.

Also small detail they screwed up on the Maryland helmet which has a black facemask instead of a dark green
