Theo is one of those guys that will not let this team lose. He has a great skill set the nfl is looking for. He is special and i will enjoy watching him finish his senior year at Notre Dame.

I didn't think he would get caught behind on the long run. My impression is that he isn't as fast as I thought.
So are you saying he is Quicker than Fast??????

I give it to Longo-these guys are in great football condition and burn people out late in the game. I'm interested to see how it plays in Norman.

You could see it in Theo's eyes late in the 4th.

He wasn't winded, or tired. He wanted the ball.

Yep. We have a great fourth quarter team. Our running game has taken over every time it needed to all season.
Game ball to Theo, largely for that long run he busted. Even if he got caught from behind and the drive ended in a field goal, it gave our offense some badly-needed spark.

Truth. Look back 4-5 years and it is a night and day difference. ND guys are built like NFL players now.

In the new ICON, the game ball went to Eifert. Thought it was an odd choice by coach, but oh well.

My vote would have been Theo,

Hmmm, interesting. I'll have to go back and watch the game (again), but I supposed it could be argued that BYU couldn't stack the box with any many guys since they had to account for Eifert, thus his value was most.

They had him doubled just about the whole game, but he didn't have a career day and average almost 10 ypc. Oh well.

And players that expect to win, and don't hope for it.
Right. What I really love is that they aren't satisfied with this win. They know they are a superior team to BYU and they know it should have never been that close. I think winning ugly like this, staring at the mortality of their season and gutting a win is the best thing that could happen to this team before going to OU. I think they'll stay laser focused this week and next Saturday.

On that note its also shows how talented we are as far as the depth chart is concerned. There's very little drop off in terms of the product on the field if at all when we sub guys in. That being the case we seem to begin to run over other teams in the fourth quarter. Not sure you could say that about many of the teams post Holtz.
