..
I knew the Defense was horrible 24 games ago. You didn't Wow.
I second that our SC program sucks.
Les Miles canned....bring him in as an "advisor"
Holy shit, guy deserved to at least finish the year considering everything he did for that program.
The DC from Houston is a pretty solid coach. His ties to the state of Texas, the Mid West, and in Fla can't hurt.

Hopefully Herman brings him along.
With Les Miles out we have to go get Aranda don't we? He's a great defensive mind who did a ton with average talent at Wisconsin.

Homerun hire or bust from now on! I want a guy who is going to set this place on fire!
I'd be over the moon with either Les or Aranda. Our defensive recruiting would explore with Les IMO. He's a coach you want to play for.
I don't know enough about Hudson, his defensive schemes, his mindset coming in mid-season, or where the defensive players minds are after 1-3. I'd say .500 is what it looks like if I'm being optimistic
But does he have the chest to come coach up north?
Les for DC? No way, he's too good of a coach not to be HC somewhere.
First, I never once quoted the article. I simply said he had valid points.
I'm going off of the article that was posted, which is why I wrote it. Perfectly reasonable.
I couldn't think of a better writeup to display my hatred of Kelly. I have/have not wanted to bring up the controversies of Seeberg and Sullivan, but he had a hand in both. No matter what anyone says to the contrary, if you look at it, Kelly was complicit in the death of Sullivan, and possibly even Seeberg.
All of these instances are reasons someone like Kelly should be let go. It's building a case against someone, just any normal job.The Sullivans may not publicly blame Kelly, but you're a damn fool if you think they dont blame him AND ND in their hearts for his wrongful death.
How can you defend him? He had no business putting him up on that lift in those conditions.
Secondly, I don't squarely put the blame on Kelly for Seeberg. Yet I do believe he had a part in what ended up being the result. The football team and the university threw her under the bus and did NOTHING when she came to them. She was then so distraught she took her own life. I feel terrible for her. That is a horrible situation. I love ND and the program, but they were all completely in the wrong on this situation.
DC and HC in waiting
Les has the chest for sure.... may have to buy him a coat however.
That's the same thing. You want to argue semantics on "quoting" or something?
It does not get more clear than that.
You're so ignorant it's almost not worth responding to you. Truly, I don't know how someone in your shoes... someone who knows literally nothing but sits at home thinking they know everything... even exists.
News flash: the Sullivans sent other kids to ND after Declan. They're supportive of the University, and the University is supportive of them. I have a relative who has worked with Barry Sullivan on Horizons for Youth stuff, and not once in any context have they bashed ND for anything.
Your opinion is bullshit.
As someone who works in construction and has actually used scissor lifts, boom lifts, etc. here are a couple inconvenient facts for you:
1) There was a direct supervisor to Declan Sullivan (NOT Brian Kelly) that is responsible for them.
2) Additionally, they're responsible for ensuring that they're a "competent person" that knows how and when to operate the machinery in a safe manner. Declan Sullivan should have been trained such that he was individually capable of determining when it was unsafe to use the machinery and avoiding said situation. If he had raised a concern and was "ordered" or "overruled" to do something unsafe, that is a completely different situation. There is no evidence of that happening.
What really bothers me about people like you is that my in laws are very good friends with the Seebergs. My brother in law was one of her best friends, cousin-in-law (is that a thing?) taught her in school. So it really bothers me when people like you try to leverage her death into something to benefit their football opinion. You should be concerned about the failure of St. Mary's mental health professionals, but you're talking about her vis a vis Brian Kelly.
The idea that the "university threw her under the bus" is a lie. Even if it was true, Brian Kelly has literally zero input there and he SHOULDN'T have any. So your premise is, like all of your other points, total bullshit.
If you believe the reason she took her life was because of Brian Kelly you are beyond help. If you think it's because of Notre Dame you're simply misinformed. And that's all I'm going to say on it.
